At Canada’s initiative, work has begun on the creation of a new CanZUK Alliance: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Expanded duty-free trade. Faster and easier opportunities to work within the alliance. Political cooperation. In the long term — a Confederation. Public support for the Alliance: Canada — 76% Australia — 73% New Zealand — 82% United Kingdom — 68%

I’m sorry. If you don’t get paid vacation from work, you live in a third world country. If you don’t get basic healthcare free, you live in a third world country. If you don’t get paid maternity and paternity leave, if you don’t get paid from work and the government when you’re off sick, then you live in a third world country. If your government doesn’t force employers to give you a contract after a trial period so your employer has certain rights to uphold when it comes to loyalty back to you as a worker, so you feel safe and secure when you work hard, then you live in a third world country. These are the very basics we come to expect In Europe and The U.K. This is the very least we will accept. This year I have 52 paid vacation days off from work. This would not include paid sick days, time for doctor’s appointments or paid time off for looking after my child or taking them to the doctors. Some employees like mine pay a little extra for working from home, for electric, for internet and aditional money for food for when I work. We have very good free education. Americans travel to Europe just for the free universities to study without drowning in debt whilst living in the most beautiful cities. These universities that for some subjects are the best in the world. It is physically illegal for my employer to contact me on my day off or outside of my contracted working hours. Some of these things which can vary country to country in Europe are the very basics of what we expect living in a European country. The very minimum. Yet we get told by MAGA that we live wrong, and we should change our values, and that America represents freedom. And we should follow what this government administration wants. What is it to be free? Just to be allowed to have guns? To protect what? To protect yourself from your government? The truth is sadly, that there is no Freedom in America. I say these things above so Americans know what you should demand from your leaders, because none of the above is taught to you. Now this is the Truth you need to hear: For education America is 13th in reading, 18th in science, 37th in math among 79 countries. College debt is over $1.7 trillion and average borrower owes $30,000+. America has the highest incarceration rate in the world…. You have around 25% of the whole world’s prisoners, but only 4% of the global population…. Over 2 million people currently incarcerated in the U.S. You have the most expensive healthcare system globally, yet it ranks #30 in overall health care. U.S. has higher infant mortality and lower life expectancy than many developed nations by far. 1 in 7 American children live in poverty. Roughly 11 million children 90% of your wealth is with 1% of people. America has over 40,000 gun-related deaths annually. And even for tech… The U.S. ranks 13th–20th in internet speed globally. Why would they tell you what you are missing? Why would they tell you what you should demand and expect as tax paying citizens… Seek Freedom, Seek Real Freedom. Not the Freedom They Sold You. The one they sold to you wasn’t free.

JD Vance dismissing Britain as ‘some random country’ which hasn’t ’fought a war for 30/40 years’ is beneath contempt. British forces fought alongside US troops in Iraq (twice) and Afghanistan. In recent years. Is he stupid? Or just ignorant?

President of the European Council, and former prime minister of Portugal António Costa, ALWAYS wears suit and tie in public. This was a deliberate message of solidarity and rebuff of the American administration's ambush in the Oval Office.

Black are the constituencies won by the CDU/CSU, blue the constituencies won by the AfD. Quite staggering. Can you spot the exact location of the old inner-German border?! 🥴

Andrew Wakefield wrote a small, scientifically worthless paper pretending vaccines had something to do with autism. It turned out to be not just crap but actually fraudulent, for which he lost his medical licence. He's one of the biggest villains in medical history.

On his contempt for Brexit, Jeremy Clarkson speaks for millions of us. Soon only Nigel Farage and the Daily Mail will be left saying Brexit is fantastic. Jeremy Clarkson: Brexit makes me want to sit in a gutter and weep thetimes.com/article/535600a…

RFK believes the “cure for measles is chicken soup and vitamin A.” In 2019, he ran what he called a “natural experiment” in Samoa, derailing its measles vaccination campaign. 5,600 people contracted measles. 83 people died, the majority of them children.

The UK is not a serious country
🇬🇧 Brits need to stop hating on anyone who dares to demand a healthy salary. We only hurt each other. Americans are so far ahead —because they don’t have a shame-based culture.

Rishi Sunak approved 100+ new oil and gas licenses just weeks after the 3 hottest ever recorded days. History will judge this climate vandalism as a gross moral crime.

Today we are signing the 🇪🇺🇳🇿 free trade agreement. An ambitious, balanced agreement that reflects our shared net-zero goals. We are already New Zealand's 3rd biggest trade partner. Now we could increase trade between us by 30% @chrishipkins xitter.gq/i/broadcasts/1OdKrzBBj…

Brexit is now, in a majority of voters minds, linked with high interest rates, trade friction, travel friction and general incompetence. The reality may be more complex, but that doesn’t matter - it’s about perception, and the perception is that Brexit is not only a failure but a liability. And there is more pain to come. This is why in my view, coupled with demographic change, it is inevitable that we will soon begin the process of rejoining the single market and customs union no matter what Labour or the Conservatives say at the next election. This irresistible pressure will probably split the Conservative Party, which is ironic because Cameron’s only strategic aim in calling the referendum in the first place was to placate fringe elements of the Party. Thanks Dave! theguardian.com/politics/202…

My local dry cleaner was struggling to pay the bills. He was losing $10,000/mo. I told him to "use AI to transform his business" He took my advice. Bought a $20/mo subscription for ChatGPT. His business is totally transformed. He now loses $10,020/mo.
