What matters in tokenized equities is ownership of the underlying shares.
Most “tokenized stocks” so far have been offshore synthetics that track price w/o dividends, voting rights, or real claims. Securitize’s 1:1-backed security entitlements (w/ conversion path to the transfer agent) preserve the rights that make equities valuable

Securitize Stocks launched on @Solana, with transactions settling in USDC.
@NYSE is building a 24/7 digital venue where Securitize Stocks are expected to trade upon the venue’s launch.
@okx and @ICE_Markets are building OKXICE, a planned Tokenized Securities Venue where Securitize Stocks are expected to be available in the future.
Securitize Stocks are designed to support additional onchain utility over time, including supported lending and collateral markets like @aave.
@jumptrading serves as a market maker on our Solana PropAMM, supporting liquidity, price discovery and execution.
@Ripple Prime plans to support Securitize Stocks and explore bringing them into its broader institutional trading ecosystem.

It’s been a long day, a great day, and another big step forward towards realizing the possibilities for bringing traditional financial markets onchain. @jserna explains what we just launched very well in this thread. @carlosdomingo has been driving hard towards this vision now for over 8 years. And the amazing, super hard working team at @Securitize will keep taking this product to higher levels, as the promise for tokenization is still only beginning to be widely understood.

11/ None of this works by ignoring how securities markets operate.
You need brokerage, custody, transfer agency, corporate actions, identity, compliant transfers, liquidity and execution quality.
And you need those pieces to work together across traditional and onchain infrastructure.
That's the hard part.
12/ The goal isn't to build a parallel stock market full of disconnected wrappers.
It's to bring the actual securities market onchain, make it accessible through more venues, expand what investors can do with their assets, and eventually let issuers take direct control.
Tokenized stocks, the right way.
Because it's hard.
