SAN SALVADOR — November 5, 2026. The countdown is underway. In six days, San Salvador's Centro Histórico will become an international meeting point for the Bitcoin community as Bitcoin Histórico returns to the National Palace for its second edition on November 11–12. Organized by El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office and CUBO+, the conference brings together some of the industry's most recognized personalities, alongside entrepreneurs, investors, developers, and educators from around the world. Following its inaugural edition in 2025, Bitcoin Histórico returns to the country that became the first to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, placing El Salvador once again at the center of an international conversation about Bitcoin's future. International Voices Gather in El Salvador Among the featured speakers are Max Keiser, Stacy Herbert, Jimmy Song, and Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas, alongside a wider lineup of international Bitcoin advocates and industry specialists. Keiser and Herbert have become prominent figures in El Salvador's Bitcoin development, working closely with national initiatives and promoting the country's growing presence within the international Bitcoin community. Song, a Bitcoin developer, educator, and author, brings a technical perspective to discussions about the network and its future. Salinas, one of Latin America's best-known business figures and a vocal Bitcoin supporter, adds a perspective from international business and investment. Together, the speakers represent different areas of the Bitcoin ecosystem, from monetary philosophy and technology to entrepreneurship and economic development. Centro Histórico Becomes the Conference Stage Few international Bitcoin conferences take place in a setting quite like San Salvador's historic center. The National Palace will serve as the main conference stage, while nearby Plaza Gerardo Barrios will extend the experience into the surrounding public square. Keynote presentations from inside the palace are scheduled to be transmitted to giant outdoor LED screens, allowing members of the public to follow the discussions without entering the main conference venue. The plaza will also host Sats Corner, a free program featuring bilingual talks, workshops, games, and a Chain Duel championship. For international visitors, the event offers an opportunity to experience a historic district that has undergone significant restoration and redevelopment in recent years. The National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Library, and surrounding public spaces provide a distinctive setting for an event connecting modern financial technology with the country's architectural and cultural heritage.
