Producer tenforus explained how he ended up working with DIMO REX and making the beat for SAY MY NAME:
👤: First of all, I had never met DIMO REX at all and wasn’t in a position to message him directly. Then one day while digging through IG, he posted a story titled, "Ask Me Anything." If I sent a DM I don't think he'd see it right away, so I left a message on his story asking if I can get his email so I can send him beats directly. Fortunately he sent me his email right away, and that’s how the collaboration naturally came about."
He also said that seeing so many influencers and everyday people post covers of SAY MY NAME has been such a rewarding and fascinating experience for him as the beatmaker of the song 🥹🤍

"The song (SAY MY NAME) received so much love, and with so many influencers and everyday people posting their own covers of the song, it’s been a truly rewarding and remarkable experience for me as the producer."

Yedam's pre-debut SoundCloud era is such a core memory for me, so it makes me happy that he can talk about it freely now 🥹

@/hiptake_: "Bang Yedam's form is unbelievable"
Global pop star Justin Bieber visited Korea last weekend. While his appearances captured across Seoul have been trending on social media, a video filmed at a club is drawing attention.
Bieber is moving his body to the rhythm of the music. Interestingly, the song being played at the time was Dimo Rex's "KICK IT."
Dimo Rex is showing his best form after debuting as a solo artist, following in the footsteps of former K-pop star and Treasure member Bang Yedam. "KICK IT" is a track from the album [ANTIDOTE], released last April. It is a track where a heavy trap beat blends with rhythmic vocals and an addictive hook. Meanwhile, Dimo Rex also expressed surprise by leaving a comment saying, "That doesn't make sense," in the video's IG comment section. Justin Bieber first made headlines in Korea when he showed interest after hearing of Dean’s Instagram. Eight years later, a new connection with Korean music is emerging through his enjoyment of it. 👤: Are you trying to get rid of certain aspects of Bang Yedam (as DIMO REX)?
🦊: Rather than saying I’m trying to get rid of them, I know what kind of traits each one possesses. So rather than discarding them, it feels more like I’m reinterpreting them as DIMO REX. And since I don’t plan to completely stop performing as Bang Yedam in the future, I need to leave something behind. Because If I were to shed it all off, when I go back to making music as Bang Yedam, I might find myself wondering, “Who was I again?" Something like that.
👤: Won’t you have changed by then?
🦊: Of course, to some extent. So honestly, I am also looking forward to seeing what Bang Yedam's music will be like after going through this process.
👤: So rather than Bang Yedam and DIMO REX being two separate entities, you could say DIMO REX is like a section you're passing through
🦊: That's right.
👤: How about another persona?
🦊: To be honest I’ve gotten a bit of a taste for it, so it’s not like I haven’t considered it at all... But I’ll have to give it some thought later on. But rather than creating another name and persona, I think there might be things I can do with DIMO REX, and things I can do with Bang Yedam as well, so juggling the two like this.

Dimo Rex's song "Kick It" was recommended by Peemwasu from the Thai boy group BUS during their #BUS_CHESTVOICE_แก๊งสาม streaming session on Stationhead.
He mentioned, "Every time I listen to this, it sets the perfect vibe and makes me want to groove along. I really want everyone else to hear it too!"
