I have made backers.schist.app/. I will soon also launch Schist Cloud.
I want to work on software to benefit everyone full time, but free software isn’t free to produce. I need your help. By backing you will be on the readme and website.
Help me to help you ❤️
the true unsung heroes of the UK
one of my personal motivations with gov.uk was burning wordpress out of every important uk government service. even back in 2012 we all knew it was a problem

Nibblets v0.4 (well v0.4.1, sorry, I pushed a bad patch)
- Nibblets can now bank: Nibblets now have plugin support for banking! A "bank" doesn't have to be USD, it can also be crypto. By default, we initially support Stripe/Slash Bank for fiat (with Stripe, if you need to handle 3D Secure, the nibblet will prompt you for the code) and Bitcoin/Ethereum for crypto. A bank has a central reserve which is where you add your crypto/credentials on the host, and then the Nibblets get either monthly or total spending limits and can request virtual cards within that.
- Nibblets can ask your location: This can be useful if you want them to handle stuff "near you".
- Let a nibblet run in a virtual machine: Instead of Nibblets just being containers, Nibblets can now also be VMs. On Linux (KVM)/Windows (Hyper-V) systems, you can setup a Nibblet with a Windows VM! The VM is automatically provisioned when passed a ISO and your agent runs in that environment! This is great for running Windows apps with your little hamster workforce! For most people, containers are great, but this may be useful depending on the tooling you need.
- Allow API keys instead of subscriptions, with a monthly budget per nibblet: This can be useful for running a Nibblet outside of a subscription model.
- Let a nibblet go by another name, or none, and drop the hamster act: More control over how they behave, including adding to the system prompt.
- Borrow a nibblet's browser profile for a quick local sign-in: When using containers, you can borrow a Nibblets Chrome profile to login to a service.
- Programmatic nibblets: We now attach the server's OpenAPI description to releases as well as to a endpoint on the server, and publish (at) nibblets/ts-sdk to npm for a TS SDK. Since we have a nice RPC, the SDK is quite nice too!

That is a unexpectedly awfully worded tweet from TechCrunch
The vibe-coding platform said all of its customers should revoke and rotate their private keys, after hackers were able to decrypt some customer secrets.

Ok, mostly happy with macOS 27 tbh, but did just have my first crash with it so I hope that's not common
Big trip wheeeeeee (or to Americans a grocery shop, this is about right isn’t it @J_Kreutzbender? 🤣)
My thoughts on Claude Cloud
okay, not as nice of a UI as T3 Code (not by a long shot), is nice to just have it be simple and go off and do basic things, too expensive
defo use your credits, its free compute, but I wouldn't daily drive
nibblets.dev compromises: 0
always trust in the hamsters
I like hardcore fucked up my right knee walking somehow (can't bend it), I can't even point to a moment I did it, p good I'm taking a few days to recover before I need to do more things lol
about to merge an insane pr, wish me luck, for most people, you should use containers, but for some, using Hyper-V/KVM/Apple Virtualization to run a Linux nibblet in a VM or Hyper-V/KVM to run a Windows nibblet in a VM (VERY useful for Windows software) will be hella helpful
