Importance of referral :
A friend applied to the same company through the careers page 4 times. No response. Then someone from his network referred him. He got a recruiter call within a week.
The referral didn't get him the job. It simply helped his resume get looked at instead of getting lost among hundreds of applications. In today's job market, being qualified isn't always enough. Sometimes, you first need someone to notice you.
Please, MNCs, a humble request. 🙏
I completely support creating more opportunities for women through campus hiring. But when there are 10 openings, please consider keeping 2 opportunities open for eligible male candidates too.
Having campus drives that are exclusively open to women can be difficult for equally qualified male candidates who are also looking for their first opportunity.
It’s not about taking opportunities away from anyone. It’s about giving every deserving fresher a fair chance to start their career. ❤️
Many mnc's hire women candidates only in campus placement, I am not against it but male candidates also deserve a fair chance, they also need a job for family.
This guy used to get proposals from girls older than him, and now all he does is wait for his manager’s approval for a holiday.
From college life to corporate life, everything has changed.

Sharing my recent experience with interview process of an Indian IT company.
Because
Candidate experience matters.
My profile was shortlisted by Bootlabs for a AI Engineer role and an interview was scheduled.
I showed up for the interview, but it was cancelled because the interview panel was unavailable. I was told by the HR Manager that the interview would be rescheduled the following week due to panel availability.
I waited for a week and followed up yesterday.
Instead of a rescheduled interview, I received a generic rejection email saying they would not be moving forward with my application.
I have absolutely no issue with being rejected. Companies have every right to decide whom they want to hire.
What I find unprofessional is cancelling a scheduled interview because of an internal issue, asking the candidate to wait for a rescheduled interview, and then rejecting the candidate without even conducting the interview or explaining what changed.
This opportunity was important to me because I wanted to experience an actual AI Engineer interview, understand what I need to improve, and learn from the process , even if the final outcome was a rejection.
Candidates also invest their time, preparation and effort in these processes. That deserves the same level of professionalism from the hiring side.
Sharing this experience so other candidates are aware of how my hiring process with Bootlabs was handled.
Rejection is completely okay. Lack of transparency and communication is not.
Mujhe lagta tha mujhe zindagi me kuch nhi aayega phir mai apne manager se mila ab mujhe bahot kuch ata hai, kam hi etna karwaate hai
Java + Spring Boot.
Yeah, I know everyone wants to say Go because it’s modern and Node because it’s everywhere.
But companies don’t rewrite billion-dollar systems because X declared a new language cool.
Java + Spring Boot is deeply embedded in banking, fintech, enterprise, microservices and backend infrastructure.
If I had to bet my career for the next 5 years, I’m taking Java.

When will India move from being a customer base to a creator base?
AI tools → America, China
Teams, Meet, Outlook → America
Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp → America
AWS, Google Cloud, Azure → America
Maps, Lens, Photos → America
We have the talent. We have the users.
But we still haven't built a single global platform that the world depends on.
When do we stop being the customer and start building for the world ?
That first ₹ earned online hits different.
Once you make money from freelancing and X, you realize your income doesn’t have to come from just one source.
You start thinking bigger:
How many ways can I create value and get paid ?
Everyone went from Development → AI/ML.
I went from Development → Cloud.
Now I’m wondering if I should go back and learn AI/ML broadly to understand where the industry is heading.
Feeling a little left out of the AI wave.
For developers who moved into AI/ML:
What should someone from a Cloud/Backend background learn first?
This is why I don't blindly trust AI for learning.
It confidently gave me the wrong order for building reliable agents.
The scary part? A beginner could easily copy this without realizing anything is wrong.
Google AI search @Google
Indians are giving them a massive customer base.
Basically, we’re doing the free testing for their products.
Meanwhile, what happened to Sarvam AI, man ? Had such high hopes for them. @SarvamAI
X is an amazing social platform.
> Gives money.
> Gives lifetime connections that can change your career trajectory .
> Gives fun through memes and controversies .
> Gives the latest updates about tech and geopolitics .
> Gives opportunities you would never find otherwise
> Gives you a place to learn directly from people actually doing the work.
It's surely becoming an all-in-one app.
