I already shudder thinking about all the code I wrote by hand over the past few decades. Like a farmer in 1926 who just got a tractor or something.

This is why all academic books should be published open-access. One of the reasons they don’t get read or used is because they are comically expensive, rather than freely available on the internet. They’re already subsidized by academic institutions. Why not make them free?

It’s been exciting to watch @tallyxyz go from strength to strength, evolving from a voting platform to become foundational infrastructure for tokenized organizations at all stages, from token and governance launch through to value accrual. A huge congrats to the whole team on the Series A – excited to see where you take the protocol next!
Today, we're excited to announce Tally's Series A funding of $8 million to scale the software layer for onchain organizations and help protocol tokens accrue value. What began as a DAO governance tool has evolved into the most widely adopted software stack for onchain organizations. Tally powers infrastructure for leading organizations across Ethereum and Solana — including @arbitrum, @Uniswap DAO, @zksync, @wormhole, @eigencloud, @Obol_Collective, and many more. With over 1 million active users and $1 billion moved using our tools, winning teams use Tally to support every phase of their onchain journey: • Launch: distribute tokens and onboard users • Operate: manage treasuries and govern protocols • Grow: accrue value and create token utility Tally launched in 2020. We are grateful to have built through the ups and downs of the last 5 years, and we haven't been on this journey alone. We want to thank our users, partners, and investors including: @AppWorks, @1kxnetwork, @bcap, @cyberfund, @placeholdervc, @BitGo, @Lemniscap, @CastleIslandVC, and @bloccelerate. Tally is building the future of software onchain. To learn more about how we can help your organization, please reach out. We would love to chat.

Yes to every word of this
Memecoin cycles went from lasting months to weeks to days to now not even an hour Every time a memecoin is created, a timer starts and it becomes a game of chicken: who can stay in the coin the longest but exit just before the floor drops out The natural result is that with each consecutive memecoin cycle, people exit just a little bit earlier than before, shortening the game of chicken The natural end state is the memecoin cycle lasts only for a block or two, and is only playable by bots, but what’s the fun in that? This is not only a zero sum game, it’s actually a negative sum game when you consider the LP/platform fees and value extraction via MEV/snipers/insiders (hundreds of million of dollars per year per category of value extractor) The average degen is ever so slowly (or quickly) getting money taken from them, but they accept this risk, because of the small off-chance they actually somehow win the game of chicken The game is completely different for celebrities who launch the coins and print free money, and for the immoral CT influencers who can use their followers as predictable exit liquidity Seems unsustainable, but then again, we’ve seen worse in cycles past Welcome to crypto in 2025, the future of finance right? Ready to move past this phase

Chainlink adoption continues to accelerate—in just over a week, new @chainlink services were deployed across 14 distinct blockchains! In 2025, we’re doubling down on our commitment to scaling Chainlink adoption, with an increased focus on integration speed. Expect to see more Chainlink on more chains, more dapps, securing more value than ever, faster and faster. Highlights from the past few weeks ↓

BoLD is a 0 -> 1 moment for Ethereum scaling Not just because it adds another green slice to Arbitrum’s pie But because it guarantees resolution and allows for trustless cooperation xitter.gq/arbitrum/status/188971…
Today, BoLD delivers permissionless validation, making the Arbitrum ecosystem more secure and more decentralized than ever. Anyone can defend Arbitrum. Stage 2 soon.

Say it with me: Risk consultants 👏 shouldn’t 👏 propose or oversee 👏 asset issuers 👏 who pay or recently pay them 👏 There’s like 10 risk consultants on the market. I promise you can find one who wasn’t paid to design, evaluate, or contribute to the asset in question

Soon, with @aave integrating @chainlink SVR to recapture liquidation MEV, red days like this will generate millions of dollars in revenue for each protocol Liquidations most commonly occur during market volatility, and we’re likely to see a lot of volatility in the next 4 years
Proud to see Aave performing flawlessly during the past 24 hours of market volatility where more than $200M+ in liquidations occurred. For the past 5 years, Aave and Chainlink have been working together to help build a hyper-secure and reliable DeFi protocol that works when it matters most. Just use Aave and Chainlink.

Aave just performed flawlessly processing $200m in liquidations over the weekend! On days like this an OEV solution cannot introduce extra risks. SVR was designed for high performance, high reliability and minimum trust-assumptions to capture the highest risk adjusted value.

Two weeks ago 70 ETH was leaked via liquidation MEV in a single transaction.... Sure would be be nice if a portion of this was recaptured to the protocol that generated it. Chainlink SVR will fundamentally enhance the value capture of DeFi and Oracles

3 out of the TOP 4 are Wintermute’s liquidation bots liquidating WETH collateral, bundled with oracle update before it at the top of block. All are landed in rsync’s blocks and bribed total of 141.5 ETH. the bot, as an example from one of the txs, 1) bundled up a Chainlink oracle updating ETH onchain price to $3090, 2) borrowed $7m USDC via Flashloan from Balancer, 3) paid $7m USDC Compound debt and liquidated its 2341 WETH collateral 3) sent it to a WM address, who sent 7m USDC for repaying flashloan + 50 ETH bribe to the builder in return. The bot still made 20 ETH in profits besides the huge bribe (71% of the profits): with the new price, they paid 2271 ETH worth of USDC and claimed 2341 ETH collateral, which totals to a 70 ETH profit, out of which 50 ETH are to the validator. etherscan.io/tx/0x5683761bbb…

This is particularly true for governance/tokenomics. Too many perverse incentives —> mental gymnastics to appease investors and lawyers. Tokens should be aligned with the mechanics of their protocols, not VC IOUs with voting.

One of the biggest problems is most of the top thinkers have gotten used to being “chained elephants.” Now the chains are removed but after ten years of suppression, they can’t “think free.” The hard wiring from the persecution means current teams may be at a major imagination and vision disadvantage compared to new, more ignorant, less scarred teams.
