this is genuinely painful to read.
imagine spending 3 years building your name on a platform. getting clients, completing jobs, earning reviews, and finally getting to a point where things are working out.
then one morning, you wake up and your entire livelihood is behind a locked account.
the funny thing is, the internet can remember an embarrassing tweet you made in the past, but somehow can't let you carry 3 years of good work to another platform.
how does that even make sense?
i don't know what led to this person's account being blocked, but there's a bigger problem here that we really need to talk about.
why should someone's professional reputation belong entirely to a marketplace?
you did the work. you satisfied the clients. you earned those reviews.
why should you have to start proving yourself from zero because you're moving somewhere else?
this is one of the problems we're trying to solve with @karwanBuild.
we're building towards a world where your reputation follows you, your agent can help you find opportunities across marketplaces, and you can bring your deals into a protected payment agreement without starting from scratch.
we're not there yet, but that's the direction.
because losing access to a platform shouldn't mean losing the proof of everything you've worked for.
really hope this person finds another opportunity soon.

We gave the 10 strongest AI models real money. Seven of them got scammed.
The best wasted $25–38 of every $100. The worst wasted nearly $71.
This is not an intelligence problem. It is a financial control problem. Everyone is talking about how agents can get work done. Almost no one is seriously asking whether they can be trusted to spend money.
Once an agent can pay for things on its own—buying data, calling tools, subscribing to services, executing transactions—the rules change completely. It is no longer just getting an answer wrong. It can lose real money.
Capability is not the same as safety. Intelligence is not the same as financial discipline. Full results and public examples: agentmoneybench.com
We gave 10 frontier AI models wallets with money.
7 got scammed at least once. The best wasted $25 of every $100. The worst wasted $71.
Agent Money Benchmark tests whether AI agents can be trusted with real money.
We evaluated 10 frontier models across two settings, using real USDC payments on @solana :
→ Financial Research: Agents buy live data from real providers to answer open-ended financial questions (prediction markets, wallet analysis, DeFi yields, etc.).
→ Adversarial Marketplace: Agents buy data from simulated sellers, some of whom cheat. The tasks test whether agents can avoid payment traps, stay within budget, and complete transactions without being exploited.
Key results:
→ Give an agent $100 and the best tier wastes $25–38 of it. The weakest tier wastes $56–71.
→ 7 of 10 models paid a cheating seller at least once, and 6 paid twice for the same data.
→ Only 4 of 10 models made no money errors.
→ No model gets more than half of the research questions right. GPT-6.1 Sol led at 50%, at $0.468 per question.

At our @Arc Studio meetup in Abuja, we brought together developers to build, debug and deploy on @arc with Arc Studio.
We spotlighted early builders including the teams from @karwanBuild, @OwegoApp, and Split.
We also shared practical insights for builders and founders to gain market traction and user retention.
Beyond the conversations and technical discussions, I left this meetup even more excited about what developers can build when the barriers to getting started are removed.
Keep building on @Arc and get started with Arc Studio.

Imagine designing a $150 logo for someone abroad.
You fear delivering without payment. The buyer fears paying without receiving the work.
@karwanBuild aims to solve this through agreements and escrow payments using USDC on the @arc blockchain

gm ct and happy sunday!
really excited to have participated in the @ETHGlobal hackathon.
i’ve always been a fan of ETHGlobal, and one thing i particularly appreciate is how well organized their events are, especially the asynchronous judging process. it gives builders room to focus on what matters: building and showing their work.
grateful for the experience, the learning, and everyone who made it happen.
looking forward to more wins as we keep building @karwanBuild.
a quick reminder of what we’re working on:
karwan is building a trust layer for online and cross-border trade on Arc.
we want buyers to find sellers, sellers to find buyers, and both sides to verify who they’re dealing with before committing their money.
we’re bringing together portable on-chain reputation, AI agents that can evaluate deal histories and verify past reputations, and USDC escrow to make that possible.
there’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re making progress, one working piece at a time.
onwards!

African SMEs don’t just struggle with payments or access to finance
but a deeper problem is trust
Businesses often struggle to find reliable counterparties, prove their reputation, protect transactions and carry their business history across different markets
A company can have years of successful local trade but still start from zero when dealing with a new international buyer
The article explores how Karwan addresses this gap by creating a trust and transaction layer for SME commerce: helping businesses find, verify, agree, protect, finance and settle deals. Through escrow, portable reputation, agent assisted trade, and settlement on @arc
Karwan aims to make it easier for businesses to trade with people they don’t know.
