Doug Ford and his government can disappear for five months on a taxpayer-funded break while continuing to collect their very comfortable taxpayer-funded salaries, and somehow find the time to spend OUR tax dollars on ads attacking Ontario’s teachers.
Think about that.
Teachers. The people we entrust with our children every single day.
Instead of smaller classes, more EAs, better special-education supports and properly funded schools, Ford would rather spend public money trying to turn the public against educators.
Why?
Because an educated population asks questions. Critical thinkers are harder to manipulate. Strong public education gives children the tools to challenge governments, corporations and people in power and Ford’s actions make it increasingly difficult to believe that’s what he wants.
And let’s not ignore something else: teaching is a female-dominated profession. When a government repeatedly picks fights with educators, nurses and other predominantly female public-sector workforces, people have every right to question that pattern.
Stop using OUR money to attack teachers.
Use it to fund classrooms. Hire EAs. Reduce class sizes. Support special education. Fix our schools.
Ontario’s teachers are not the enemy.
Underfunding public education is.

Doug Ford lectured students about “misusing taxpayer money” to justify gutting OSAP grants. Now we know the truth: less than 1% of cases were flagged as ineligible, and not a single case was referred to police.
The hypocrisy is unbelievable. This is the same Premier who cried about students allegedly buying cologne while spending $29 million of taxpayer money on a luxury jet.
Students trying to afford school were never the problem. This government’s priorities are. #onpoli

Did you know that the Lieutenant Governor can remove a Provincial Premier for illegal activities? I believe Doug Ford is the perfect example of a Premier engaging in illegal activities and I don’t believe it would be hard to prove that he is. Food for thought Ontario.

We will take this to court.
If Doug Ford thinks he can limit transparency and hide public business behind a cell phone, he’s mistaken.
Ontarians have a right to access government records including communications that relate to public business, no matter what device is used.
That’s not optional.
That’s accountability.
And if those rights are weakened or denied, we will challenge it under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in court.
Because public office doesn’t come with a privacy shield for public decisions.
It comes with responsibility.
And the people of Ontario have every right to demand answers.
NEW: The Ford government has called a late night sitting to pass the budget during legislative off-hours.
If it gets 3rd reading tonight, it could be law as early as tomorrow.
Rendering the court decision for the Premier to hand over his cellphone records moot.

#BREAKING: The Ford government just scheduled late-night sittings – until midnight – to ram through FOI changes.
Just when you thought this government couldn’t get any worse, they’re now scheduling late night sittings to quietly change the rules, hoping to keep Ontarians in the dark.

For everyone discovering Doug Ford’s rich, entitled, lavish lifestyle from his Gravy Plane scandal
Please see his Gravy Cottage in Muskoka.
A 100-200k public servant can’t afford something like this… but a corrupt premier in the pocket of developers can!

BREAKING: The Ford government just voted to fast-track a law that would permanently shield Doug Ford’s phone records from the public, keeping you in the dark about how your tax dollars are being used.

It’s honestly just shameful at this point.
Doug Ford is out here buying a $28 million private jet, while at the same time cutting OSAP, underfunding healthcare, and gutting public education.
People can barely afford groceries right now and he has no problem with pricing going through the roof.
But there’s always money for what he wants.
$350,000.00 annual salaries for each 8 appointed school board supervisors? No problem.
A luxury jet on the taxpayers’ dime? No problem.
Working barely half the year and still collecting a full salary and benefits? Also no problem.
Meanwhile, regular Ontarians are out here struggling just to survive.
Make it make sense.
Because right now, it doesn’t.
This isn’t leadership. It’s completely out of touch

This morning, I called for a vote: Doug Ford should personally cover any losses from buying and reselling his $30M gravy plane.
The purchase. The outfitting. The resale. All of it.
Spoiler: The Conservatives blocked it.
Doug Ford is turning the plane around mid-air for an emergency landing because he got caught living like a rockstar on your dime.
Just like the Greenbelt: Ford only reverses when the heat gets too hot. The Premier’s buyer’s remorse isn’t good enough when it’s your money.
Now, will he vote to ban surveillance pricing tomorrow?
