Both sexes need to stop competing against each other but celebrate each other’s strengths, recognize similarities and crossovers, realize there are outliers and stop belittling the other group in order to assert dominance. Civilization is best served when we balance each other. Both sexes have the capacity to be good, kind, empathetic, intelligent, clever, brilliant, caring, vile, evil, and stupid. In this, they are truly equal.

I’ve found that the intention isn’t mirrored in reality, which is why I’ve concluded that people who promote DEI only wish to feel morally superior by choosing candidates based on those categories instead of actual qualifications.
DEI is not about hiring someone unqualified (unlike politics), it’s about ensuring that qualified job candidates, regardless of sex, race, age, disability, sexuality, etc have an equal shot given these groups are historically underrepresented when they *aren’t* considered.

Previously-Deported Mexican Charged With Killing Harley-Riding Couple in North Carolina A man and woman died in a collision with a previously-deported suspect who may have been driving under the influence last weekend in North Carolina, authorities say. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provided Border Hawk with immigration background on Jose Carlos Salas-Tzompaxtle, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico. The tragedy unfolded at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening in west Charlotte. Rodney Ewing Quinn, 66, and Dana Asbill Osborne, 63, were riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when the driver of a Honda Pilot pulled out of a driveway directly into their path, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD). Quinn attempted to brake but the Harley struck the Honda and both riders were thrown off. Quinn and Osborne, who were both wearing helmets, were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Honda was identified as Salas-Tzompaxtle. He was not injured in the crash. “Tzompaxtle showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He was transported to the Mecklenburg County Detention Center and charged with two counts of Felony Death by Motor Vehicle and issued a citation for No Operators License,” CMPD said. Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued a detainer for Salas-Tzompaxtle. “Salas-Tzompaxtle was issued a voluntary return to Mexico in 2009 after he illegally entered the country through Texas. He illegally reentered the country at an unknown time and place,” a DHS spokesperson told us. Salas-Tzompaxtle was ordered held on $1 million bond amid an ongoing investigation.

BJ nails it. We are 'Leading the World' in fouling up our energy system. I doubt many countries are stupid enough to follow. Though Germany isn't far behind.

On October 28, 2023, Armita Geravand was announced dead by the Islamic Regime in Iran. Armita was attacked and beaten on her way to school for refusing to wear hijab. She was kept in the hospital for 28 days because the Islamic Regime was scared of announcing they had just murdered another girl merely 13 months after murdering Jina Mahsa Amini over hijab. This is the story of Armita's defiance in memory of Jina.

I'm unlikely to read the book, but could someone explain to me why it's OK for Woodward to expose the names of confidential sources? You're supposed to take their names to the grave--yours, not theirs.
Bob Woodward's long book excerpt in the New Yorker is a slightly creepy account of how he burned his best source and purported best friend to help tank George H.W. Bush's reelection. The great @TeviTroy mercilessly dissects it in today's @WSJFreeEx newsletter. wsj.com/opinion/free-express…

Costco cancelled my 26 yr membership, b/c ghetto, @senatorNobles called and complained I was posting videos and narrating the amount of "On the System Muslims and welfare Hispanics using SNAP." Minimum 70% in @CityofTacoma W/H (that's what they told me in guest services). Plus, I took pic of a scary Trans who looked like the one that raped the 6 month old baby here in @CityofTacoma that worked as youth advisor, that @RyanMelloTacoma is a part of. Look in comments at who owns Costco, put 2 + 2 together ... you scratch my back Fergie, I scratch yours.
Remember when the government said we have to fight them over there so we dont have to fight them here? Now we see this all over America plus they have infiltrated our government. Wake up America!

Looking specifically at methane (CH₄) in the red-highlighted band near the infrared spectrum (10µm range), we observe its absorption band in a relatively narrow wavelength region. However, when comparing this with the absorption by water vapor (H₂O) in the cyan-highlighted area, it becomes clear that water vapor absorbs broadly and significantly across much of the infrared spectrum, including wavelengths that overlap methane's absorption range. This means that water vapor is already absorbing the majority of the radiation in these overlapping bands. Water vapor is vastly more abundant in the atmosphere than methane, with concentrations measured in parts per thousand (ppt) compared to methane's parts per billion (ppb). The dominance of water vapor absorption effectively "saturates" these overlapping wavelengths, leaving methane with only a minimal additional impact on the total radiative transfer. This is why slight increases in methane concentrations due to anthropogenic or natural emissions have a negligible effect on Earth's energy balance compared to the influence of water vapor. In summary, while methane is a greenhouse gas on a per-molecule basis, its contribution is limited by the overwhelming and already saturated absorption capabilities of water vapor in the same regions of the spectrum.

LOTR is arguably the single greatest example of moral realism in all of literature. Injecting moral relativism into Middle Earth fundamentally misunderstands Tolkien and flies in the face of everything he stood for. And don't come at me with 'moral complexity.' Relativism isn't complexity. It's confusion. It's a collapse of distinctions that has nothing to offer but meaninglessness and despair. In order to have meaningful 'moral complexity,' you have to establish a distiction between light and dark, right and wrong, good and evil. The complexity arises among characters that must navigate a world where both forces act around, upon, and within them. What modern Hollywood calls 'moral complexity' is actually just the erasing the distinction between good and evil. If a story can't show you light and dark, it can't say anything meaningful about them. Classic storytellers understood this. Modern Hollywood has completely memory holed it.

WOKE LAWFARE: Climate activists tried to pin a man’s cancer on an energy producer. A Philadelphia jury rejected the claim. But one defeat won’t end the war on affordable energy. It’s the same playbook we’re seeing across the nation: bankrupt energy producers through litigation and raise costs on consumers in the process.

This is the 15-year-old accused of shooting 11 people after FAMU’s homecoming game in Tallahassee on Saturday: Anthony Rivers III. He’s only 15. He already had prior gun-related issues and was on an ankle monitor. When white kids have committed mass shootings, their parents have been charged and locked up for failing to control them and keep them from accessing guns. The same standard needs to apply here. These inner-city youth aren’t going to stop until their parents start facing real consequences for not controlling them.

I hate this so much. “It’s a disease” is the excuse used by every addict on earth. Yes addiction changes your brain, yes it’s difficult, but if you’ve ever had a loved one who is an addict, there are no words you hate more than “It’s a disease”. And I hate to say it, but look how the “It’s a disease” excuse worked out for him.
Matthew Perry’s sister, Mia Perry Bowick, has told a new documentary about her brother’s life that his 2013 #Newsnight debate with Peter Hitchens was a “huge moment” in his decision to speak publicly about addiction and “show himself”. You can watch some of the debate here.

This is a great example of media dishonesty. Was RFK Jr. saying Arabs NEVER win awards, produce literature etc.? Or would the fair-minded interpretation be that he was highlighting that how they are disproportionately lacking in these things? Which is empirically correct, BTW.

Arabs have won exactly 3 non-Peace Nobel Prizes... Literature of Naguib Mahfouz in 1988, Ahmed Zewail in Chemistry in 1999, and Omar Yagh in 2025. Theres 500 million Arabs in the world. At least 211 Jewish individuals won non-Peace Nobel. Theres 16 million Jews in the world.
