If you don't put 2D animated films in theaters for 20 years, it's pretty easy to say people don't see 2D animated films in theaters.

Brad Bird says he’s happy with the final CG animation of ‘RAY GUNN’, but also thinks Hollywood has turned against 2D animation. “Studios think audiences won’t accept that... I don’t agree that hand-drawn animation isn’t commercial.” Find out more... discussingfilm.net/2026/09/2…

I have quietly been involved with *several* projects, and this is one of them! I worked closely with its director, @kellanstover, to put this trailer together. I composited the shots and created the logo reveal at the end! I’m excited for people to see the team’s work! 💪🏻

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a pretty great rubric for how to tell new stories in a series whose lead has aged out of the role. We don’t need new films, but I will gladly take a new Indy movie-game hybrid every 5 years or so until I’m dead.

RTing again because one of my favorite things about working at this company is that I can always recall who animated what shot and the challenges they approached and surmounted to achieve what’s on display here. This whole reel is full of rock stars in all departments.
