What makes them better is that Lazlo is absolutely not stupid and is well aware that Edward is a jerk and hates him and he still loves him anyways. Of course he would he loves everyone but I feel like he especially loves him for that? Hes very stubborn. I think he enjoys it

Have weird perceptions of one another that becomes an odd fixation , one sided rivarly obsession on Edwards side, and an intense need to take care of Edward and help him on Lazlos side, which is what edward needs but lazlo doesnt quite get what boundaries are either
