We have penned a letter with @PolStudiesAssoc and @MYBISA, addressing concerns over proposed cuts to the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lincoln
We stand in solidarity with affected colleagues during this challenging period: uaces.org/joint-letter-chair…
It was a privilege to be invited to attend Professor @Cardwell_PJ inaugural lecture last night.
Meeting more members of the @uaces community was an added bonus.
The UACES team had a fantastic evening last night at @KCL_Law, @KingsCollegeLon attending Professor @Cardwell_PJ's Inaugural lecture, "A Tale of two Europes: the External Relations of the EU" 🌍
Thank you for an enlightening and inspiring lecture!

Hey #Colchester folks, this survey on the future of the town centre only took me a few minutes to complete. Want to have your day too? 👇👇
Thanks to everyone who visited our market stall on Saturday to share their views on the Town Centre Masterplan.
Couldn't make it? #HaveYourSay by completing the survey here: colchester.gov.uk/masterplan…
We'd love to hear from as many residents as possible 👍

If you’re planning a trip to the beach at the end of the month, then why not head to Brightlingsea to meet the @HWEssex team for fun, games and chats as well 🏖
We're excited for our Brightlingsea Beach Day on 26th August!
Join us at the beach hut in Promenade Way for a chance to meet the team and ask any health and social care questions.
We'll also have some fun games and chances to win prizes - see you there! 🎯

Catching up on last night’s #GardenersWorld
Violet and her garden was a pure delight.
‘That’s what gardening is all about. You win some, you lose some. That’s life’
Can we see more of her please? 😊 @BBCTwo
An interesting read on car free cities particularly how the benefits outweigh the economic concerns that haven’t materialised in this example.
‘’The city should not be seen as a road, but as a space for coexistence’’

The #HighwayCode includes a hierarchy of road users. It doesn't remove the individual responsibility we have for our safety, but places greater responsibility on those that pose greatest risk.

I have many words but I think I’ll just point out the very fucking obvious……
This doesn’t ban abortion, it bans safe and accessible healthcare for women. How anyone can argue that is pro-life is utterly beyond me.
Replying to @washingtonpost
When the decision came down shortly after 10 a.m. ET, many of the clinics in trigger-ban states were filled with patients scheduled to receive abortion care.
Administrators had to inform patients that they could no longer legally perform the procedure. washingtonpost.com/politics/…
100% this.
My son adored reading particularly gothic horror.
His fave was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde which he read at age 13.
Then along came GCSES and he’s not picked up a book to read for pleasure since.
It makes me so sad that testing and exams can suck the joy out reading.

What a team 😎
Absolutely love working with this amazing lot and you too @TrinaChakr strategically placed behind the camera instead of in front of it 😊
Sharing a drink with this lovely, energetic crew @natfedevents though missing @ChaddersPolicy in frame. What an event! #NHFAHO
Great day back at #NHFAHO for the first time in real life since 2019.
Really enjoyed chairing @KProSoftware session on can tech improve the reputation of affordable home ownership & it was a real privilege to hear Meg from @CoppaFeelPeople
chatting all things social media and boobs.
Congratulations to the @natfedevents team for delivering another first class conference 👏👏. You’re all awesome 😎
I don’t understand the logic of #Colchester councillors decision to eradicate a well established wildflower meadow in Highwoods & replace it with trees. We need more of both! Sign the Petition! chng.it/pWXWmpv5 via @UKChange
