Yeah, private contests like this are the best setup for a company. Everyone sticks to their own work, and there’s almost no spam or noise.
Yesterday we published our latest audit report.
As part of the engagement, we ran a private SpecSiege competition on a tokenised bond platform.
The setup:
• Capped at 50 researchers (The winner was @heavyw8t_)
• 30+ actively competed (submitted at least one finding)
What a capped, curated contest delivered:
- Very little spam. The few who spammed were banned.
- Judging stayed manageable. Results reached the client in under 3 days.
- A few Medium and many Low severity findings, adding another layer of review on top of the protocol's existing security work.
A short competition window, a focused group of researchers, and solid results.
