Unfortunate to see my projects being ripped and posted on LinkedIn as people's own. I believe in Open Source projects to help others learn. Dissapointing to see my name and logo removed and replaced with someone elses.
Maybe make a change before claiming it as your own?
Been needing something to distract me. Took a page out of @GregDavill's book and decided to make a board in a day. Its my version of his Obsidian Boa.
Even though I haven’t been posting my electronics projects I wanted to share my first attempt at leatherwork - a pen sleeve for carrying fountain pens to work.
Turns out, leatherwork is tough.
Curious if anyone knows of any good open source USB battery bank designs?
I want to build the lightest possible one for hiking and I want the flexibility of picking the “pack” depending on the length of my trip.
Is anyone able to help me determine what this is?
Took this picture hiking this last weekend and I want it to be the Andromeda galaxy, but I don't know how to confirm it
Chip shortage got me doing reworks like this to get stuff to work 😭
P.S. I love this epoxy, it dries perfectly clear and has a little flex to it so it won't pull components off the board
About a month ago, while backcountry ski touring, my beloved LED Lenser Head Lamp stopped working. I've had this head lamp for over 9 years, and I wasn't quite ready to retire it just yet.
A few rough measurements later and I ordered some flex boards from @oshpark! While this doesn't strictly match the thickness of the original FPC I figured it'd work just fine.
Didn't like the fact that the croissant was silver as opposed to gold, so I electroplated it with copper 🥐
Quick 3D model so I can carry a spare MicroSD card in the hot shoe of my camera!
(Yes, my camera runs Windows 7 don't @ me)
Ordered some flexible interposer PCBs but this one seems to have a manufacturing defect 🔍
Customer service was top notch in resolving it though!
Decided to make a 3D printed medium format pinhole camera! Excited to go get some film and fixer this weekend!
Somehow my boot SSD with Windows got corrupted last night. Kinda annoying when I was sitting down to order 8 completed PCB designs and 3 mechanical ones.
Semi tempted to try Ubuntu (and KiCAD) for a week or two but I can’t fathom leaving my Altium Library behind
