Extremely disappointing experience with Mahindra & Mahindra and Om Automobiles, Unnao!
I booked a Mahindra XUV 7XO AX Petrol nearly 3 months ago. At the time of booking, I was clearly assured that the car would be delivered within ONE MONTH. I specifically requested delivery around Diwali, and the dealership told me to arrange the funds and be ready.
Now, as the expected delivery date approaches, the story has completely changed! The salesperson and his team leader are now claiming that the waiting period for this vehicle is 40–52 WEEKS! If the waiting period is really that long, why was I promised delivery within a month at the time of booking?
On 12 October, the salesperson specifically told me that the vehicle had been billed and would reach the showroom within a week. Based on these assurances, my loan documentation was processed, and I even sold my existing car, trusting Mahindra’s commitment.
Today, I am left WITHOUT A CAR, without a confirmed delivery date and without any proper explanation. The salesperson repeats the same excuses, the team leader offers no solution, and the General Manager has not answered despite my 8–9 calls.
Is this how Mahindra & Mahindra treats its customers? Why make false or unrealistic commitments just to secure a booking? Customers trust your brand and make major financial decisions based on your promises. You cannot leave a customer stranded and then hide behind waiting periods and vague assurances!
@anandmahindra @Mahindra_Auto — I demand accountability, a transparent explanation and a firm delivery date. Please intervene and resolve this matter urgently.
