I have a somewhat controversial take:
Not everything that happens at a rave needs to be shared on the internet - especially when related to sex and drug use. Maybe it’s my age or just who I am, but if I’m fucking in bathrooms, I ain’t telling a bunch of strangers on the internet. I’m hopping on a call with my best friends to debrief.
I get the excitement of doing something scandalous and wanting people to know but not everyone needs to know your levels of debauchery. People will misconstrue and take everything out of context.
Also, negative shit things travel fast. Tweets about the music and community don’t go viral but once a tweet like ‘I fucked three people at the rave’ drops, everyone, including outsiders, suddenly cares. This exposes the community to outsiders with bad intentions.
Let’s let’s share our experiences, but share them responsibly ❤️
