Our investments in Integrity and particularly in AI are continuing to pay off in making Meta platforms safe. Congrats to the team on continuing to improve so many of our safety metrics.
Today, Meta released its quarterly integrity reports, detailing how we enforce community standards, manage content & enact the @OversightBoard's recommendations. In sum: we’re continuing to make progress in reducing harmful content + increasing transparency across our platforms.

I continue to be very proud of the work my team and the many other teams @Meta are doing in this area.
Earlier today we shared a comprehensive update on Meta’s work preparing for the US midterms, which is consistent with the policies and safeguards we had in place during the 2020 US presidential election. about.fb.com/news/2022/08/me…

An example of the type of #advertiser targeting data available in our Ad Library now: over the last 30 days, a Page ran 2,000 ads about social issues, elections or politics with 40% of their spend targeted to “people who live in Pennsylvania” or “people over the age of 50.”

Today we’re excited to announce that we are bringing targeting transparency to social issue, electoral and political ads through both our Ad Library, and for academics in the Facebook Open Research & Transparency environment. More details in our blog: facebook.com/business/news/t…"
