More I think about it, more this disgusts me.
Shame on the Manitoba commission. Legit just stole 10k from a fighter, with no concrete proof it was what they thought it was. Absolutely absurd.
Jasmine Jasudavicius was fined $10,000 by the Manitoba commission after being accused of having a Zyn pouch in her mouth during a past fight:
“They fined me $10,000, and not only did they fine me $10,000, they said, ‘This is your best option because if not, we can suspend you for six months or suspend you indefinitely.’
It was almost like it was a gift that they only fined me $10,000 because what they could have done was so much worse.
Jeff Novitzky told me that was very crazy for the Manitoba commission to do this. They were going to give them a call and see if we can get a little bit of money back for me."
