I’ve been active here for almost 6 years
Four years ago I listened to so many people on here and started a food channel on YouTube. My 15 year old daughter (19 now) said it would be a good idea because I needed something to do because I was becoming a grumpy old bastard😉😂
Now I have 10,500 subscribers and earn enough to fund my daughters car journeys to and from university.
We’ve invested a few pounds in some very basic equipment and we now produce videos which are not that professional but the content is authentic and made with love. My daughter is my chief camera button pusher and head taster.
I’m not sure that I’d want my stuff to be as polished and as tidy as the content creators that really don’t give a damn whether people cook their food or not.
My best day is when people get in touch and tell me they’ve cooked my food after learning from my recipe video and everything has turned out perfectly
The food channel has become my therapy and my tonic against the mental health issues so many people my age face when they are unable to do anything physically demanding due to poor health.
Chef Archie’s Easy Recipes food channel
also gives me an excuse to create great dinners for my daughter and myself.
Thanks, everybody💜🥧

All 18 US Intelligence Agencies told Donald Trump that Iran did not have a nuclear weapons program.
•@grok• TRUE or FALSE

Trump ripped up Obama's Iran deal that let us inspect their facilities.
Trump then started a war & said he set back Iran's nuclear capabilities for decades.
Now, we have zero intelligence & are bribing Iranians to spill the beans.
What a fucking embarrassment.
Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $20 million and possible relocation for information about Iran’s nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment, and associated personnel, such as those in the scientific community, or the movement of any of the above.

When Republicans won they did not reach across the aisle, they kidnapped hardworking people off the streets and sent them to a concentration camp surrounded by alligators where they feed them maggot infested food and laughed about it.

For nearly two years, the American people watched as Congress surrendered its constitutional authority to Donald Trump, abandoning its responsibility to serve as a check on executive power.
We watched ICE agents descend on American neighborhoods, terrorizing families, separating loved ones, and conducting operations that raised grave questions about constitutional rights and deadly uses of force.
We watched a president and those closest to him blur the lines between public service, personal enrichment, and political power.
We watched American farmers struggle under the weight of tariffs, retaliatory trade policies, rising costs, and disappearing markets.
We watched our closest allies alienated, decades of diplomatic relationships damaged, and America’s credibility on the world stage eroded.
We watched federal agencies gutted, career public servants pushed out, and scientific expertise dismissed.
We watched the Department of Justice face political pressure while the independence of our institutions came under attack.
We watched billionaires gain extraordinary influence while working families struggled to afford groceries, housing, healthcare, and childcare.
We watched immigrants demonized, transgender Americans targeted, protesters vilified, and vulnerable communities turned into political punching bags.
We watched attacks on voting rights, threats against political opponents, assaults on the free press, and efforts to undermine the very institutions designed to protect our democracy.
We watched the normalization of corruption, cruelty, dishonesty, and contempt for the rule of law.
And perhaps most disturbing of all, we watched members of Congress who swore an oath to defend the Constitution remain silent, make excuses, or actively enable the erosion of their own institution’s authority.
But the American people were watching. We were listening. We were remembering.
And now, we are demanding accountability.
Not revenge. Not political retaliation. Not another round of empty speeches and promises.
Accountability under the law. Accountability for abuses of power. Accountability for the damage inflicted on our country.
Because elections are not simply about changing who occupies the seats of power. They are about changing what those in power are permitted to get away with.
The American people did not fight to reclaim their government just to watch a new Congress protect the people who abused it.
We did our part at the ballot box. Now Congress must do its part under the Constitution.

I’ve been staring at this photo for a while now, and I can’t stop.
Look at it. No speech, no confetti, no cameras doing their thing. Just a man and his wife holding each other on the night he became a United States senator from Michigan. The look on her face tells you everything about what the last year cost them.
Abdul El-Sayed, congratulations. You did it.
To everyone who follows this page, I want you to understand what we just watched happen, because this is a lot bigger than one Senate seat.
Eight years ago, this man ran for governor of Michigan and lost his primary by double digits. Plenty of people would have taken that as their answer and gone home. He went back to work instead. He ran the health department for Wayne County and Detroit, taking care of people who usually get forgotten. Then he came back and asked Michigan to trust him again.
What he got in return was one of the ugliest campaigns this country has seen in a long time. He got called a terrorist. He got called a jihadist. The President of the United States went after him with racial slurs and lies, over and over, betting that Michigan voters would be scared of a man named Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed.
He won his primary by less than a point, against the money and against nearly every big name in the state party. Then, two days before the election, the woman he beat in that primary went back on her promise to support the nominee and endorsed his Republican opponent.
Two days out. Think about what that does to a campaign, and to the person at the center of it.
He kept going anyway.
Last night Michigan answered. More than two and a half million people looked past all of the fear and voted for a doctor, an epidemiologist, the son of Egyptian immigrants who was born and raised right there in Michigan. In January he’ll be sworn in as the first Muslim senator in American history, and the first Democratic doctor in the Senate since 1969.
I keep thinking about the Muslim kids across this country who woke up this morning and saw his face on the news. Kids who’ve been told, quietly or to their faces, that they’ll never really belong here.
Today they saw a man who looks like their dad, their uncle, their big brother, standing in front of an American flag as a senator-elect. Nobody can take that moment away from them.
When he took the stage just before 2 a.m., he said that in a fight between the money and the many, the many can win. I believe him, because I watched it happen. Ordinary people knocked on doors, made phone calls, chipped in a few dollars they didn’t really have, and refused to let hate decide the outcome.
So to Dr. El-Sayed, and Dr. Sarah Jukaku, the woman holding him in this picture who stood beside him through every insult and every sleepless night: thank you.
Thank you for not quitting. Thank you for showing a whole lot of people that this country still has room for them.
The people who threw everything they had at this man were counting on fear being enough. Michigan just showed them it wasn’t, and from now on every campaign built on that same fear has to answer for what happened here.

This message is for @RepJeffries .
America has seen you on the news…
Saying you’re only going to concentrate on “Affordability For the American People”.
While side stepping questions about impeaching Trump.
Now listen up.
Accountability is going to happen.
The Judiciary Committee will occupy 12 members of House Democrats.
The Oversight Committee will occupy 26 members of House Democrats.
This leaves you 221 democrats to work on the economy and other shit that’s fucked up.
Americans have endured atrocities under Trump and Republicans that require accountability.
Americans along with Immigrants have been illegally detained, deported, tortured, murdered and raped under Trump’s Department of Homeland Security.
Thousands of Rape victims have been forced to carry pregnancies to term due to laws Republicans have passed.
Forcing victims of rape to give birth to their rapist’s child.
Women have died because they were denied the rights to an abortion.
Again because of laws Republicans have passed.
Women were hunted down and prosecuted for having abortions.
Muslims, Jews and other non-Christians have been made the targets of hate and murder…
Because of their 1st Amendment right to practice a their religion.
While Republicans forced their religion onto others in Public Schools, Hospitals and in our Courts.
The LGBTQ and Trans Communities have had laws passed against them…
They’ve been demonized and been victims of hate crimes and murder due to MAGA rhetoric.
People have died due to measles outbreaks and other diseases…
Due to policies put out by The Department of Health and Human Services.
Many politicians and people within Trump’s inner circle,
Have made billions of dollars off illegal business dealings.
And finally -
The biggest sex trafficking ring in modern history…
Has been sidelined to protect the wealthy and well connected.
The Epstein Files need to be fully investigated.
The victims deserve justice.
The guilty deserve accountability.
So whatever path these investigations lead you down…
Down the path of a Democrat…
Down the path of a Republican…
Down the path to Donald Trump…
These investigations will happen.
This is not a matter of “Fixing Affordability For America” and sidelining the rest.
Because you’ve made friends with those in Trump’s inner circle…
It’s a matter of 360 Accountability.
We demonstrated what we can do at the polls.
We took out the majority of the Republican Trash.
You will bring accountability.
Or you’ll be the next load of trash taken out.
You work for us.
We demand accountability.
Get it done.
If you have any questions…
Feel free to ask any democrat voter.
(If you follow me, or you agree with my post… Please repost it.)
(I want as many democrat lawmakers as possible to see this.
Especially @RepJeffries )

There are a dozen different theories going around on what Trump might do this week in an attempt to steal the election.
Most are unsettling, unhinged, or downright insane. All of them are completely believable.
We shouldn't have to guess what kind of terrible, dangerous thing a president might do to avoid accountability, and to continue enriching himself off the office, misusing taxpayer dollars, and
pillaging America's natural lands.
Tomorrow is our chance to be the check and balance that Republicans have failed to do.
Vote every single one of them out with fire and fury.
No more corruption.
No more cruelty.
No more incompetence.
No more chaos.
America deserves better than this.
