I was okay with eliminating shifts but HOLY SHIT please not this Offense in today’s game isn’t struggling because of where OF’s are positioned
Down in Arizona at the MLB lab(Arizona Fall League at Salt River Fields ) they are experimenting with outfield positioning by rule in order to increase offense. The CF has to be 285-290’( Average in today’s game is 323’)from HP at the time of the pitch & the corner outfielders are also shallow & closer to the lines. It has greatly increased offense in all areas because of the depth & wider gaps. POTENTIAL IMPLICATIONS 1) We will draft more speed in the outfield & the DH type outfielder will have less value. 2) Line drives to all fields will have more value because they will have less hang time & with outfielders playing shallower & more towards the lines they will have less time to cover more ground. 3) Arm strength will be less valued because the batted balls hit in front of them will get to them closer to HP & sooner than when they were playing deeper. 4) More late inning come backs in close game because there won’t be “no doubles” positioning ( Extra deep). 5) More apt to play left handed throwers in RF & RH throwers in LF to put their glove hand closer to the gap because so many more balls will be hit into the gap with corner outfielders playing closer to the lines. 6) On extra base hits middle infielders having to go out further to get throws from outfielders to prevent triples & inside the park home runs. Arm strength more a priority for middle infielders especially second basemen. Maybe the shortstop goes out for all extra base hits. 7) Depth rule adjustments for places like Coors Field or any off the larger fields. THOUGHTS?

Didn’t have Chandler Simpson as the best offensive performer in the World Series, but here we are Congrats to the Brewers, I will not be talking to anybody for at least the next 4 days #RaysUp always

I think this team overperformed, without a doubt. But you had an opportunity to win a World Series and your offense just completely floundered. New ownership owes it to the fanbase to spend & make this team a contender moving forward #RaysUp

Offense just is not good enough to win in October, if we’re being honest they were bad the whole month Disappointing to say the least

Win the last home game & send it back to Milwaukee, keep the pressure on and give yourself a shot! #RaysUp

Dewayne Staats?!? Oh man I’m hyped

I think there’s a world where you see Nick Martinez open, only threw 33 pitches tonight. Other options: Kelly (12) Baker (24) Booser (9) Cleavinger (0) You can piece G5 together, set yourself up to go to Milwaukee with Rasmussen & Peralta waiting Need to score runs #RaysUp

Now it’s simply a footnote in a game your team lost
COOP'S FOURTH HIT OF THE DAY COULD GO DOWN AS THE BIGGEST IN BREWERS HISTORY

Shane Drohan is an FSU Baseball alum, which means you knew he was going to shit the bed in a World Series environment. There was never a doubt (I’m allowed to say it because I’m a Nole and have witnessed it time & time again) #RaysUp

They all booked flights back to Cheese Land when they went up 3-2, Eric Rays in 7
That noise you hear is Tampa Bay/St. Pete bartenders and restaurant managers jumping for joy that the Brewers fans are there another day.

Unfortunately most Brewers fans already spent their life savings to get to Games 3 & 4, gonna have to dig in the piggy bank one more time tomorrow I’m glad they’re keeping Ferg’s in business, though

To be fair, I didn’t think Shane Drohan would be in the ballgame #RaysUp lives for one more day, let’s do it again tomorrow night!
Because I’m pretty confident the #Rays wont score off this Brewers pen, my off-season wish list: - Legit RHB, if it’s a SS that’s even better - Strong side platoon 2B, Palacios/Walls can be utility guys - 2 arms with swing & miss in the pen - Theo Gillen/Caden Bodine in the bigs

Agendas about to pushed in reference to the Rays will be unfair, but expected based on this performance I am sad

Pat Murphy has managed circles around Cash I’m massively pro-Cash, but he’s left a lot to be desired these first 2 games His players have, as well
Pat Murphy has legit pushed every single button correctly in these playoffs Need Cash to channel that over the next 4 games (or 3)

Rays have been completely outclassed in the first 2 games Have to figure something out on the plane ride home, or this is going to be a very quick exit from the Fall Classic

This is the WORST time for the Rays to be playing the sloppiest baseball they’ve ever played FIGURE IT THE FUCK OUT
