If you read the actual novel, you will see she's first member of RP council, beloved by people, kids look up to her and incorporate her culture and she runs the city. But since your group can only steal snippets from ka to spread hate, you would ignore that of course.

aang *has* supported katara as a genocide survivor not just in the north & south comics but even in the series. he was the biggest supporter of her learning waterbending at the NWT specifically *because* there was no one else who could teach her at the SWT (a π§΅/mini rant)+

Everytime I hear people say Katara always has to calm down Aangβs anger, I find it funny because:
1. it happens only twice in the entire show
2. Katara doesnβt have to do it, she does it because she understands his anger and feels very similar level of rage

The reason why i dislike zuko arc is this, he is shown as sympathetic and empathetic since the start, every time he does smth bad, they shove an even worse villain for him to fight, so you want him to win, itβs kinda boring
