We have been building a low-code website builder but before we even launched, the AI came and our not-yet-born product became obsolete. Have you experienced something similar?
Too often, I see developers get caught up trying to build products that do this AND that AND the other thing. Then they look at a "worse" product that's crushing it, even though it barely does anything, and they're totally confused.

find a niche you're genuinely interested in
timeless problems / easiest niches to make money in:

> Children's education
> Rich people's fear of loss
> Poor people's desire to get rich quickly
identify specific problems in the niche
build a solution → grow by attacking the best distribution channels where your niche hangs out
most devs skip the research part & wonder why their "amazing" app gets zero users lol
spend 80% of your time understanding the problem, 20% building the solution
the market will tell you exactly what to build if you actually listen
