TRIBUTE TO OUR “UNEDUCATED” LITERATES:
Behold: yet another ‘uneducated’ and ‘stark illiterate’ ‘Out-of-School’ child, at least according to the ‘experts’ or ‘literates’ who can barely fill a school form without autocorrect.
Meanwhile, the same “illiterate” Almajiri has memorised an entire holy book in a language that isn’t his own, mastered an ancient script most critics can’t even comprehend, and is now calmly writing long passages from memory as if it were nothing.
The real comedic irony?
Those quickest to label the youngster illiterate would struggle to produce two sentences—in any language, with any script, without Google, spell-check, and lots of tears.
Another reason for a rethink on what it means to be ‘educated’ in today’s #Nigeria.
As any system that doesn’t recognise and integrate such scholarly brilliance disenfranchises millions of very gifted young learners.

I am definitely a fan of arranged marriages. The kind where two people with similar values are introduced, and if love grows, they take it further. I believe marriages built on shared values last longer.
I am raising a beautiful daughter, and I will make sure she becomes an amazing human. I won't sit back and watch her end up with someone badly behaved. If I know good, well-raised people, I will guide her toward that circle.
