Trail safety starts before you reach the trailhead!
Knowing your route and being prepared for trail conditions is essential to enjoying all that nature has to offer. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks feature 838.8 miles of hiking trails, offering endless possibilities and a variety of environmental factors.
Here are some tips to help you arrive prepared:
1. Plan your hike ahead of time—check the trail length, conditions, elevation, and weather forecast. Match your plan to your physical abilities. You can always turn back early if the hike is more challenging than expected; high elevation and steep trails can be tough for anyone.
2. Bring the essentials: navigation tools, food, water, clothing layers, illumination, and first-aid supplies.
3. Let someone know your plans. There is no cell service on most trails and in many areas of the parks.

How is it that @amazon @UPS @FedEx can all find my address but @OnTrac_Shipping cannot for 3 days in a row?!! Do better…@Athleta pick better delivery services. I will be thinking twice about ordering from you in the future. I cant get a real person to talk to.
@UPS read my post…yall are good. It’s @OnTrac_Shipping I’m having issues with
I’ve asked to pick it up at the hub, I’ve asked for a real person to call me back. The only response I’ve been getting back are bot responses from @OnTrac_Shipping GO BACK TO HIRING REAL PEOPLE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and MAKE THE DRIVERS HAVE CONSEQUENCES IF THEY DONT DELIVER!
Very disappointed with @OnTrac_Shipping All of a sudden they are not able to deliver packages to our ranch saying our address is not a complete address…Our address never changed…you’ve delivered packages here for years…not sure what the deal is.

🌸 Bring on the blossoms! 🌸
Peak bloom has arrived at the @NationalMallNPS, turning the Tidal Basin into a sea of pale pink and white.
Spring in D.C. doesn’t get better than this.
Our first trail run was a huge success! 197 registrants and a good chunk of them came out and braved the frigid temperatures! I’m beyond enthusiastic and pleased on all the positive all the feedback. We are looking forward to putting on another trail race at @FallCreekRanch

I’ve never been one to appreciate birds much…until recently. Every time I walk out my door and look out into my yard, no matter if it’s the front, side, or back door, I see a beautiful red bird…there’s something majestic about it.
Birding is a fun hobby that forces you to slow down, be observant of your surroundings and appreciate a wider world that was there all along. 🦆🦅

Coast Guard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskan saved 165 lives in the Texas flash floods.
The 26-year-old, a former KPMG accountant, directed Army Blackhawk 60s and MH-65s to survivors and helped get them to safety, according to the New York Post.
“Ruskan spearheaded a high-risk rescue mission under the worst possible environmental conditions, which in the end saw 165 brought to safety,” the NYP reported.
“I’m just doing a job,” he told the NYP.
“This is what I signed up for, and I think that any single Coast Guard rescue swimmer or any single Coast Guard pilot, flight mechanic, whoever it may be, would have done the exact same thing in our situation.”
“That’s what we were asked to do and we’re gonna do it. Any one of us, if anyone else was on duty that day, they would have done the same thing as us.”
“We just happened to be the crew that got the case.”
I’ve spent the last week trying to get my new Honda pilot connected to my existing @Honda link account. I don’t understand why this is so complicated!!

Well @amazon here we are again. You guys for some reason changed the directions to my road. Your maps are trying to make our drivers go through a gated development which does NOT connect to our road & is 20 minutes away. You lost several customers out here including my business – at Texas, USA
