Twitter is now awful for the same reason GOT was unwatchable for me. Nothing good ever happens. Just a never-ending series of bad events and assholes. Eventually you lose hope that something good COULD happen and then it's just wallowing in despair. My brain is sad enough thanks.

My sweet leftist babies, pitting the people who make $30k a year against the people who make $60k a year is what the people who make $600k a WEEK want.
As someone whose partner DID speak to me like this and worse while pregnant, and my current partner would never, I second that it is absolutely not normal. It's ok to leave. It's ok to prioritize yourself and your safety and your kids' safety.
