- He allowed 70-year-old migrant Chaudhry Zaman of Slough to walk free from court after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl - Suspended sentence plus 80 hours’ unpaid work
- He allowed 69-year-old Imam Mohammed Habibullah of Dudley to walk free from court after sexually assaulting a vulnerable woman because he had a been iman for the muslim community for 25 years - Suspended sentence
- He allowed Santokh Mahal of Wolverhampton to walk free after he carried out six sexual assaults on four women aged from 18-years-old to 47-years-old - Suspended sentence
- He allowed former Dudley Labour Councillor and court magistrate Derrick Hemingsley who took hundreds of indecent images of two boys aged under 12 to walk free from court - Suspended sentence
- He allowed Simon Aldridge of Dudley to walk free from court after he downloaded “vile” indecent photographs and films involving children as young as six being raped and abused - Suspended sentence
I can't understand the Aldridge case. The others are either fellow (Pakistani) Muslims, or in the case of Hemingsley, a Magistrate - but where's the 'excuse' for Aldridge? Or is there a more common & 'personal' connection to all the cases?
In psychology if you ask a person who is accused of a crime but innocent what the punishment should be for the crime in question they tend to advocate for the harshest punishment possible.
If you ask a guilty person the same, they tend to advocate leniency. His leniency is extremely suspicious.
