Ten months. Zero lawsuits. Zero jobs recovered.
Now the Liberals are making the same promises about Stelco.
Enough talk. Workers need results.

Tonight, British Columbians chose a new direction.
We’re doing this for our sons and daughters. For the future they deserve and the province we owe them.
Thank you, British Columbia, I won’t let you down.

“Stepping up?”
Let’s look at the timeline.
September 28: Stelco announces plans to lay off up to 500 workers.
October 5: A full week later, Joly sends a strongly worded letter demanding a plan within five business days or face legal action.
October 9: The company replies that the layoffs will go ahead.
October 13: The five-business-day deadline passes.
October 22: Seventeen days after her first letter and 24 days after the layoffs were announced, Joly sends another demand letter. This time, the company gets another 15 days.
Workers get layoff notices. The company gets another deadline.
And who approved this American takeover less than two years ago? @FP_Champagne, now Mark Carney’s Finance Minister.
Workers cannot buy groceries or pay the rent with strongly worded letters.
If the Liberals are right that Cleveland-Cliffs broke its binding job commitments, enforce them. Get these workers back on the job.
Then cut taxes and scrap red tape. Get government out of the way so Canadian businesses can grow, create jobs and pay bigger wages, and workers can bring home more of what they earn.
The federal government is stepping up the battle with Stelco owner Cleveland Cliff, triggering a process that could lead to fines or forced divesture.

The liberal government has waived repayment of $435 million of fraudulent claims under the Canada Dental Plan.
This is systemic organized abuse of the system and once again canadians are left footing the bill...
Meanwhile, questions remain about recovering taxpayer money tied to the Liberal Green Slush Fund scandal.
Criminals and Liberal insiders appear to get away with abusing taxpayer dollars, while ordinary Canadians face aggressive scrutiny from the CRA.
Why is the government not applying the same level of accountability to everyone?
Canadians deserve answers.

How much will we pay for this associate member status? Norway pays $731 million per year for EU common market access. Will Canada have to pay a similar amount but scaled to the size of economy? Will it be less? No one knows as Mark Carney hasn't told Canadians anything.

How Ottawa explains inflation:

2021: 207 (+3.4%)
2022: 221 (+6.8%)
2023: 229 (+3.9%)
2024: 235 (+2.4%)
2025: 240 (+2.1%)
Ottawa: “Great news! Weight gain is slowing!”
Canadians: “I’m 40 lbs heavier.”
Great news. I raised the terrible behavior of the employer in the House of Commons several times. The Liberals did nothing. Glad the CIRB got it right.

- Forced divestiture
- Financial penalties
- Forced compliance of undertakings

Estimate of 6.3 billion annually for Canada's EU Associate membership.
Carney and the liberals are making Canadian taxpayers EU taxpayers.
Financial analysts and policy observers have modeled a potential total cost based on Norway’s framework. Norway pays roughly €869 million annually for its access to European Economic Area (EEA) cooperation and programs. Because Canada's economy is roughly 4.5 times larger than Norway's, a comparable baseline for wide-scale program integration would translate to nearly €4 billion (approx. C$6.3 billion) annually.
There is no annual fee required for Canada to participate in the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)
Contracts with Amercan companies up 50% to $7.8 billion and now this.....Elbows up!

The U.S. is banning Chinese software from cars. Canada is inviting the carmakers in.
Canada’s former spy chief, David Vigneault, told the BBC last month that “everything you do around your car, will be acquired by China.” Prime Minister Carney says he’s entering the new China partnership “eyes wide open,” while working to attract Chinese EV joint ventures. Chinese-made EVs have started arriving, with the pace expected to ramp up in 2027.
America went the other way. Commerce is barring China-linked software from connected cars starting with model year 2027, and hardware by 2030.

Pray for Wainwright, everyone.
There has been a serious incident that caused a fire at CFB Wainwright. Thank you to the brave firefighters and emergency responders working to save lives.
I have spoken to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence to offer our support to everyone on the base and in the community.
To everyone in the area, please stay safe, follow local emergency instructions, and keep roads clear for first responders.
The Liberals are making it easier for employers to hire foreign workers without proving they looked for Canadians first.
Canadian workers deserve a fair shot at jobs in their own country. Why is this government making that harder?
The complete and utter silence from @MarkJCarney and the Liberals on this issue is utterly shocking. It is not just the damage that will be caused to our auto sector, it is the massive security issue these cars pose.

Canada's Mass Immigration (2017 to 2025) was the worst economic policy decision in Canadian history.
It was NOT progressive; it was, in fact, extremely REGRESSIVE.
It transferred wealth and market power:
➡️from the Young to the Old,
➡️from the Poor to the Rich,
➡️from Labour to Corporations, and
➡️from the Renter Class to the Owner Class.
Prior to 2015, immigration to Canada was high and focused on high-skilled, high-wage labour.
In 2015, THIS government CHANGED the RULES, which shifted the focus to low-skilled, low-wage labour. This hurt the job prospects of young Canadians entering the labour market, put downward pressure on wages and lowered Canada's productivity. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/2025/05/staf…)
It also increased housing costs, particularly for renters, who tend to be poorer and younger. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/publications…
In short, it was horrific for the youngest, poorest and most vulnerable in our society. Never mind the social upheaval it caused.
Now that Job Vacancies have normalized and rents are falling, this government is floating the idea of raising immigration. It is outrageous. Worse, it is, again, being pitched as progressive when it is not. It hurts the Working Class; Bernie Sanders was right...youtu.be/vf-k6qOfXz0
The only thing that will improve the standard of living for working-class people is productivity growth. That's it.
