Actually @YusufAsunmogejo ifa is older than geomancy But the odu ifa they are doing today is incorporated in ifa by the ife people who was taught by setiu around 1000.. it is just like saying the Chinese had martial arts before they were taught kungfu by the Buddhist
You don't need to abuse me. Just bring facts. I said İfa was imported, you are crashing out. It's the pure truth.
Do you people know Reverend Samuel Johnson? He is the most respected pioneer of documented Yoruba history. In his book titled: “The History of the Yorubas,” he explicitly documented how this system entered Yorubaland. He recorded that Ifa was introduced by a blind man named Setilu.
Setilu was a man from the Nupe country, what the Yoruba call the Tapa people. He was practicing this imported Arab sand divination, ʿIlm al-Raml. He migrated into Yorubaland and brought this mathematical science with him.
The early Yoruba priests and indigenous custodians saw the mathematical precision of his divination. They took Setilu's imported Arab science, translated the Arabic concepts into the Yoruba language, and wove it into the indigenous Orunmila cosmology to make it their own.
Some of you are arguing that only the language is different. The real question is who translated from who?
The flow of history only goes in one direction. The 16 binary figures and the 256 probabilities were already documented in Arabic manuscripts by North African scholars centuries before they became Yoruba oral tradition.
The Arabs and the people of the Nile Valley did not travel down to Yorubaland to learn sand divination and then take it back up North. That is geographically and historically backwards. The blueprint came down into West Africa. The Yoruba received it and translated it.
Changing the name of an imported Arab science to fit your local language does not make you the originator. It makes you a brilliant translator and preserver.
Bring your dates, your migration routes, and your historical manuscripts. If you cannot counter Samuel Johnson and the historical Arabic manuscripts with hard evidence, sit down and learn.

Many of us are walking around with silent pains we cannot explain to anyone. It gets heavy. Sometimes it feels like our prayers are not being heard at all.
Ya Allah, You know the battles we fight behind closed doors. See the tears we hide and hear the words we do not know how to say. Reassure our hearts that You are near. Bring ease to every soul struggling quietly today. Aameen.
Like seriously someone should tell me how you guys are comfortable with wearing shorts up and down....shey efon ko kin je yin ni
I can only quote because the coward blocked me.... I am not deflecting...I am merely stating a fact that he is an hypocrite because he neglected his own God and chose to smear others people prophet... They say those who live in glass house don't throw stones..

So your first instinct is to deflect? Not address whether this is a terrible thing? So if a rapists is your brother and someone says he rapes your first instinct is to point the finger to another rapist but go a find out if your brother did it? And maybe seek justice for the victim? Step outside of just automatic defending and ask yourself if it’s right.
After learning the truth, I expect you to post the correct information about this subject and delete the false information or the wrong agenda you are pushing.
This is the most sensible thing to do.

You people have started your madness again today. While setting a nationwide marriage age is a valid topic we must collectively champion, the trending falsehood put out by ARISE TV and being amplified by you people has already been debunked. The criminal here is a woman going to jail for taking a minor out of school without parental consent. The court stepped in to protect a child in this scenario.
How about you stick to the matter at hand and stop misleading the society because of your hate for Islam? The person being sent to jail for misdoing is a woman for luring a minor away from her parents.
Before using marriage age to attack Islam, Nigeria or Muslims, apply the same standard consistently. Child marriage is wrong wherever it occurs, but it is simply inaccurate to present it as uniquely Islamic or Nigerian.
In the UK, England and Wales now have 18 as an absolute minimum, but Scotland still permits marriage from 16, while Northern Ireland permits 16–17-year-olds to marry under specified consent requirements. Across Europe, several countries retain exceptions allowing marriage below 18. Poland, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and others have had mechanisms allowing marriage from 16 under particular conditions.
And the issue does not stop at 16. Estonia sets 18 as the legal minimum but allows a court waiver for someone aged 15–17. Albania also sets 18 as the legal age but permits courts to authorise marriage below that age without specifying a clear absolute lower limit in the legislation.
Older European legal data also documented exceptions below 16 in countries including Estonia and Lithuania, although some of those laws have subsequently changed, so outdated lists should not be presented as current law.
So by all means condemn child marriage wherever it happens. But if your argument is that the existence of under-18 or exceptional under-16 marriage proves something uniquely about Islam, Nigeria or Muslims, that argument does not survive comparison with actual international law. Judge the practice consistently, regardless of the religion, culture or country involved.

I came online yesterday to find many tags on my handle asking for my opinion on this case. My first reaction was to read from a reliable not a sensational source or get a copy of the charge sheet and the judgement. I have now read the judgment and agreed with my brother @Chinaluemmanuel to share our thoughts on it, against what’s already in public circulation.
Hmmm... As a wife If your husband is neglecting his family and favours your family and you know it .... Just pray both of Una live long ... because if he dies...you will see shege... And it is not about the property...even if they are not rich she will still see shege
See Toluwanisings head like Cola and wife head like bottle when there was no money
This is the woman many of you are saying she no get right to make a decision about her late husband.
Only God knows how many sûffer they don sůffer together. Look at their photos of humble beginning now.
In some people's mind now, she no contribute to the success of the man abi?
If not that God came through for them, how many young couples dey quickly build house like that?
I no kukû blåme most of these men....they don't see their wives as one of their family members.
O ma se oooooo
If not for dêath, the family for not come dictate for them.
My dear sisters, if you're fortunate to be blessed with an amazing man in your life...please hold on to them.
They say they don't want anything to do with the property, but they are taking buoda journalism into their room to see the bed they sleep in. They are not about money but haven't mentioned anything about the late singer's children on how to take care of them.
If you listened to the first interview the father did, they don't want him to be buried in a church...that's where problem came from too...this man died as Christian for God sake...he no longer practiced Islam.
Once they are able to achieve this one request, they will start dictating other things. I don't allow people who doesn't matter or partake in my life to dictate for me. They just want to be in charge...it doesn't end...they will come up with another request.
We really need to start standing up for widows, especially the young ones.... all these cultural laws which were written by men never favor women in anyways. Some women too have been so brainwashed that they trãumåtised their women.
I read comments from widows under my post 2days ago and it brought tears to my eyes. All of them saw shêge promax from the late husband family members. They said they couldn't do anything about it.
If you like, continue victimizing widows...thank God no one is leaving this life alive...all of go eventually leave too.
Hopefully, they settle all their family wahâla out of social media and allow the dêad to rest.

Even though this is a projected number... It might be more or less... And major factors is that of the government... That been said... The number tells us that for every 100 pregnancy there is a chance 1 pregnant woman die .. less than 1%... So pregnancy is not a death sentence
Nigeria has the highest number of maternal deaths in the world, with approximately 75,000 women dying from pregnancy related causes annually. That is roughly one woman every seven minutes. Getting pregnant here is a life threatening experience.
While you foolish men dismiss Nigerian women’s concerns about pregnancy and childbirth as exaggeration, perhaps you should look at the reality of maternal mortality in this country.
All these things you wrote here is just signs that are associated with an extremist....only extremist thinks his POV is the absolute truth... They are the judge, jury.... Na only execution you no fit carry out...but I know for a fact that if you have means to destroy her you will
She sells a pity strategy to Twitter people, pretending that she wakes up as early as 3 a.m. to cook for her husband. Her objective was to make other ladies who are more career-driven and would rather employ a house help to handle the chores feel like they were doing the wrong thing.
Twitter people bought into her deceptive strategy and crowdfunded for her. That wasn't the issue; they did it with an open heart, mostly the female demography.
So many people have come into the Twitter limelight through same medium, and people have crowdfunded for them without anyone coming for them if they have a conflicting thoughts on issues. But when it comes to Mummy Zee, she wants to relegate her fellow women, making them feel irrelevant and paint them a bad people.
I am saying that she is a subtle con woman selling faux humility, it's just a matter of time, she will soon cast.
The Omo irankiran was allegedly said to be scamming people up and down.... na your type dey give Nigeria bad name.... amunibuni Eran ibiye...Omo ale ekeji aja... He wan make dem deport am so that he can use his slot scam people
Hansi Flick’s attacking philosophy can overwhelm opponents, but against a team as technically gifted, quick and ruthless as PSG, those risks can become costly.... Barcelona has defensive flaws that was built into the way they play and psg capitalise on it.. it could have been 8

If there is any takeaway from your last season it was your defence that made you lose out in the champions League same as two seasons ago....but who cares ...just keep it up till you meet team that can score and defend at the same time
How is that the problem of an arsenal fan
You think I made this up sir ... I used your numbers 6k/day and Lagos has at least 23m people then I factor it by 10% so to feed those 10% you'll need 4.3tr then if you want to farm for those 10% you'll need 30% of your total amount to farm which gives 1.46tr...appr 1.5tr/yr
