Analyst @SteveSaretsky lists 11 major real-estate rules brought in by David Eby. "Despite all of these changes, it’s hard to argue that housing for the average person is any more affordable today. Although these changes did kill the luxury market," Saretsky says. "However, make no mistake, the housing bear market is certainly not over just because David Eby is gone." Here's the list: #bcpoli #vanpoli #vanre stevesaretsky.substack.com/p…

Holy shit. I hadn't even considered what a BC NDP leadership convention could look like.
The BC NDP will be having a leadership convention. I hope that as with the federal convention, this dude chairs the provincial one. Should offer some comedy gold again.

So true
Here's the BC NDP promising $7-a-day childcare back in 2001. This broken promise is so old that many of the kids Farnworth was talking about back then now have kids.

"... the Cowichan are in fact trying to exercise some control over privately owned lands in areas that they claim.... on July 7, 2026, the Quw’utsun (Cowichan) Nation made submissions to the Agricultural Land Commission arguing that their ongoing title argument ... should lead the Commission to refuse permission for a subdivision of certainly privately owned lands in the area." "So, the Cowichan have not currently claimed for the transfer of any privately owned lands, but they have asked government tribunals to restrain certain uses of privately owned lands in light of their title claims."
I talk about some of the current interim effects of the Cowichan trial decision in today’s Law for Breakfast: lawforbreakfast.substack.com…

The Left won’t stop stealing elections In Canada, a NDP (New Democratic Party) volunteer was caught “bringing a group of 30-40 people without identification” to a polling station to vote “A bus came. He was asking them vote for the New Democratic Party in front of the booth which is illegal. The people he brought has confessed that they are voting for New Democratic Party” NDP is the New Democratic Party which is a left-wing social democratic political party in Canada Liberals are the same everywhere. They steal elections

Pleased to see that Vancouver voters have overwhelmingly rejected David Eby's failed experiments which resulted in so much crime and social disorder. We're ready to deliver for Vancouverites and all British Columbians, make our streets safe, and fix what David Eby broke. dailyhive.com/vancouver/vanc…

Very, very desperate, and I don’t think it follows the rules of engagement
Desperate David Eby defends his campaign's sleazy attempts to mislead voters with partisan letters that try to look like they're coming from Elections BC. How low can he go? Q: ...the envelope itself, there's no such indication and there's no other indication that it's from the NDP. It says election 2026. It says time sensitive open immediately… it's not hard to imagine that somebody would think it came from Elections BC or some kind of official entity and is not partisan. The only reference to the NDP is the small print on the bottom of the second page. Just wanted to get your reaction. Is that ethical? Is that appropriate? Do you have concerns with that? Or is that, you know, something that you support? EBY: Well, we use a variety of tools to talk to British Columbians. Direct mailers, radio ads, internet ads, press conferences. It is hard to reach people on such important issues like the election.

Garbage dump on Cowichan Tribes land was discovered in 2004 and still isn’t cleaned up. Last year the Cowichan were awarded a chunk of Richmond BC because they had a summer camp there in 1846. Residents in the claim area can’t sell their valueless property—it too is wasteland.

The Liberal Foreign Minister has some exciting news! This Liberal government is spending $7.8 million taxpayer money on an affordable housing project. Unfortunately for Canadians struggling to afford a home in this Liberal housing crisis, the project is in....the Dominican Republic. The Carney Liberals always find money to send overseas instead of finding savings for Canadians here at home.

Holy shit. A dairy plant told David Eby to stop mentioning them as an election prop.
David Eby is happy to use BC businesses for photo ops but won't stand with them when it counts. BC businesses deserve a government that has their back. Vote Conservative.
