A very warm welcome to our incoming PhD student @cityjournalism @CityUniLondon Menna Elhosary who won three awards at @AEJMC @ICD_AEJMC this month. We can't wait to work with you in London. Pictured here @ ICD award ceremony with long-time mentor @RashaAbdulla

Very honored to receive this recognition from @AEJMC @ICD_AEJMC. V proud of our division; all our panels and papers are testimonial of our global and inclusive approach as well as the OMGC award, LARA award and African Journalism Studies award @LouisaHaBGSU

congratulations to our City @MundusJourn students on their graduation day. You made it! A great honor to direct a global program with some of the most diverse student groups, together with @HarbZ1 and @cityjournalism

Check out the wonderful ICD @AEJMC newsletter designed by @marinapetric. It is also my last newsletter as Head of ICD. The division is in great hands with the leadership team and I'm honored to have been able to serve such a brilliant division with a purpose close to my heart.

Couldn't have asked for a better research retreat location for our @CityUniSCC annual retreat. The environment inspired lots of new and creative research ideas and collaboration across disciplines.

Very much enjoyed this presentation by @RanaArafat12 and collaborators about their project on diaspora journalism

Happening now: @RanaArafat12 is presenting her important collaborative research with @CoolsHannes @ECREA_eu

Very exciting to meet our incoming @MundusJourn cohort 2024 in Aarhus @dmjx this week & joining the Board of Studies meeting with our partner universities. Thanks to our current @cityjournalism London students for joining us over Zoom and making this an unforgettable experience

It's been challenging, more gray hair along the way, but everything feels better in such wonderful company! Thank you! (photos from my PhD graduation month in 2012)
