Let's be honest: nobody knows how to launch new products on a new marketplace. It's flooded. The positioning has shifted from an amazing design tool and website builder to an AI agent. More products, less quality, and nobody will reverse it.
Don't tell me about distribution. The Framer marketplace was the source of truth for people looking to buy a solid product. I never believed anyone who had "their own channels." If you want to prove me wrong, just share your stats in DM, I'm fine with apologizing.
If you're starting, consider other opportunities. It's painful to see people sharing their $9 earning screenshots. I know it could be a small win for someone, but let's be realistic. Just do the simple math.
Currently, I'm helping some clients with their websites in stealth mode. Enjoying the predictability and communication. People still need nice custom solutions. Lucky to have a bit of a reputation in the Framer community. Feel free to DM if you know someone who needs assistance.
It was a great rally since 2023. I wish it could continue, but the world is different. Time to adapt and become different as well.

my /fu-code-components @framer skill builds components like this.
i'm very picky with prop control UX, and overall proper structure so i baked all my principles into it.
i used to pay devs for component work. today, it's just "/fu-code-components build this..."
what just happened?
gave up on a @framer code component after it hit 3000+ lines, and the framer agent couldn't fix the bugs anymore.
before heading to sleep, i set up a fully autonomous claude code environment with a goal to iron all the issues out.
kept running for a few hours, auto testing in browser, fixing bugs i didn't even explicitly mention.
woke up to a perfect component.
seeeing all these people quit their @framer template businesses makes me wanna start my own.
the opportunity is bigger than ever.
just saw what @framer is releasing tomorrow, and i think it's time for me to return.
this thing is unbelievable...
