How I now wash my hands after shaking hands can be taught at post-apocalyptic universities following a pandemic that burned through humanity-except me.
Because I washed my hands.
And survived to write the handwashing syllabus at the afore-mentioned post-apocalyptic university💁🏻♀️
I took a nibble out of this very small and very deceptively cute pickled pepper and my mouth is still on fire.
Thank god I was born and raised in Nigeria where I learned that the tiniest peppers sometimes pack the biggest punches.
People clapping for the eclipse when it hits totality are reminding me of people clapping when their plane lands in Lebanon.
I’d like to thank god, vitamin C and the Ginger People for getting me through what could have been a very nasty flu.

Been guilt tripping daughter for spending all her time at uni and none with me.

I’m as close to 30 as my 23-year-old son is to returning the Tupperwares he takes to work.

So I sat her down and coached her in the basics of The Rockefeller Habits and SCRUM, using her bedroom mirror, post-its and a marker.

Earlier this year, I stopped and took a long, hard look at myself. And while I can’t deny I’ve achieved more than I could ever hope for, I was disappointed with myself for letting some dreams go.
Ever since I was little, I had dreams and hopes and things I swore I’d do.
At first, I told myself this was just an expensive hobby. You know, the way people spend money on golf or designer bags 😂
But I started to break even and after that, I started seeing profit.
I mean, I can now buy a coffee and a slice of cheesecake but that’s not the point.
