I think the comments here prove Keith Lee’s point. Honestly, alcohol really changes the restaurant experience. I’ve been here for almost a decade, and as a non drinker, I’ve been less than impressed with what is offered here. Where’s the spot is for good food and service?
Keith Lee says it's been very hard to find restaurants in DC because "all the restaurants are geared directly toward alcohol. If you don't drink, it seems like it is slim pickings." Thoughts?? tiktok.com/@keith_lee125/vid…

As of my tweet just two places were named—Ben’s and Honeymoon Chicken. Full disclosure: I’m originally from Vegas so I understand Mr. Lee. Luckily, I didn’t move to DC because of the food. However, I would say most places need to significantly improve their food and service.

I saw Cheryl Miller at LAS leaving LV at least 12 or so years ago. I still wish I would have gone up to her to give her a handshake or a fist bump or something.

I am dedicated to Ward 7 and making it stronger for all of us, not a select few. It’s important more than ever to vote for someone who will prioritize the voices of Ward 7 neighbors and not outside interests. Vote for me, #10 on the ballot but always putting Ward 7 first 💛

I'm supporting @Eboni_RoseT for Ward 7 Councilmember. Not only has she shown she's dedicated to supporting children and families as the current State Board of Education Representative for Ward 7 ... she's smart, compassionate, and up to the task.

Anyone in the DMV area know where I can get 3 pairs of solar sunglasses? I just called my local @dcpl and they said all locations are out. #SolarEclipse2024

Morning in the Mid-Atlantic seems counter-intuitive to me. Today in DC the sun didn’t rise until 7:15 —in Vegas it’s 6:43. I used to wake with the sunrise most of my life—not here in the winter. No wonder I feel delayed.

Same!!! I agree.

Now a word about the crust.  My mother believes that there is no shame in a good store-brought crust.  I concur. That may have some people clutching their pearls but get over that. Ignore those folks. Let it go and remember this….

Folks really do forget why it’s dark right now. This happens every year and then in late December it starts to lighten up again—like one minute a day.
I know it happens every year, but I would bet my life that it's never gotten this dark this early before in my life.
