A powerful female politician resigns: she was unfulfilled because she never became a mother.
A mother disappears: she was a hormonal (“hysterical”)alcoholic.
A headteacher is murdered: she emasculated the husband who killed her.
This is 2023. Misogyny is alive and well. xitter.gq/emmavj/status/16261332…

It must be incredibly frustrating, maddening and in some cases heart breaking to need NHS services right now
But NHS staff are human beings, doing their absolute best in impossible conditions
So please channel your anger in the right direction

Incredible gesture by @GaryLineker to cover the rest of the fee needed for @donnybelles club captain @sophies_8 to have the knee surgery which will save her career. Shame it’s come to this but we’ll played, Gary 👏

The start of the journey for the Y7 boys football team tonight. A narrow defeat to strong @OutwoodCity side. Both schools can be very proud of the way they all conducted themselves throughout. Well played all ⚽️👏🏻
