A bunch of people have written me back saying this was the best newsletter I have ever sent (flattering) ... so here it is for those who don't subscribe: AI Is Not a Labor Crisis. It Is a Meaning Crisis.
guys... @KevinColleran really needs a whole wall of missing tchotchkes and deal toys... oy vey. The most kevin thing ever would be if you would each send him one from your fund for him to feature. DM me and I will send address.
I just asked my bot to one-shot write our entire AGM LP update deck (just to see what it would do)... I am BLOW AWAY. This is far better & more insightful than what we would have written on our own. Wild.

Nathan Fielder's real trick was making a real life sequel. the only question is who is Keyser SΓΆze.
Give me a meme of thousands of mexican electricians being trained to build data centers as the "dothraki" / across the boarder / over the sea and an AI overlord as Daenerys Targsryen (maybe Mira?) hiring them en mass as her foreign electrician army to win the AI wars ..
π€ Made with AI
The death of the web is inevitable.
New More or Less is live, and here's where I landed:
1/ The models are commodity. Meta ships Muse, Gemini ships everything, and consumers already can't tell the difference. Classic race to the bottom, zero lock-in. Which means the OpenAI/Anthropic "one company takes all" infinity story isn't analysis β it's the only pitch that justifies their existence.
2/ Jess admitted 70% of her Muse use cases flat-out don't work. Everyone asks why I don't restart Fin now that "AI can do it." The service worked. The economics worked. What breaks is the economics of mistakes β book one wrong $1,000 flight and your margin is gone, and unlike a human assistant, people fire a digital one instantly. Zero stickiness.
3/ APIs are about to stop being keys and start being negotiations. Your agent shows up at Amazon like Ari Gold: "my client is rich and great, let me in." Brit thinks it ends in FICO scores for agents. She's probably right.
I think it's very hard for startups to survive what's coming. Argue with me in the replies.
