Women deserve and demand to keep a word in law and in life that doesnโt need to be stripped of what is unique to us so that it includes males with completely unconnected goals . This is unacceptable.
Women are their own political class, a type of human , and this will remain.

Remember when we were all told Canada's future was in Europe? ๐ช๐บ
Germany, France, Italy and Greece just blocked the draft Canada-EU declaration, two days before the big summit in Montreal.
Their problem? Nobody can explain what "associate member" actually means.
One EU diplomat: "It does not mean anything, it is not in the treaties."
Meanwhile, back home, food bank visits just hit a record.
Maybe fix the house before redecorating, eh? ๐จ๐ฆ

Remember CETA - the deal Canada currently has with EU. Premiers were actively involved. They had a seat at the negotiating table, and participated in MANY meetings
Seems like the Quebec Premier is the only Premier taking a stand against Carney basically abusing his powers

"My daughter just turned 22. I carried her inside my body. I gave birth to her, named her, fed her, patted her to sleep, taught her stuff, monitored fevers, celebrated birthdays, witnessed her first friendships and heartbreaks, and watched the little girl become a teenager and then a young woman.
"Today she rejects the name we gave her and identifies as male. She has legally changed her name and the sex recorded on her birth certificate. She commenced testosterone injections more than a year ago and underwent a double mastectomy shortly after that. Her GP has deliberately produced in her body what would otherwise be classed as an endocrine disorder (were it not for linguistic gymnastics). She rejected her own healthy body.
"And now she has rejected me too.
"She has gone 'no contact', regarding me as toxic and transphobic because I asked questions about what was happening and what might happen."

A particularly gnarly porn site that got taken down for hosting videos of women and children being sexually abused while they slept was called "Motherless". That word is not random. The site logo was a silhouette of a mother holding a child's hand with a big red bar through it.
(Funny coincidence: the site was being hosted in the Netherlands)

๐จThis is Afghanistan if the world remains silent.
A dark place where women lose all basic human rights
the right to education, freedom, even control over childbirth.
Forced marriage. The sale of girls at a young age. and women will be just as sexual slavery.
and men are allowed to have multiple wives.
This is a warning to the world:
If this situation becomes normalized in Afghanistan, it can reach your country tomorrow.

"A binding green taxonomy is also a prerequisite to better ties to Europe. It is hard to imagine that the deeper economic and financial integration of Canada and the EU that Carney so eagerly promotes is possible without a merging of taxonomies. Unless both economies can agree on the same baseline for investment requirements and restrictions, they will never find common ground.
The green taxonomy can thus be seen as an indicator of the Carney governmentโs future plans. If the end goal is still net-zero 2050, then a green taxonomy remains a crucial step in that process. The farther it progresses, the closer we get to Euro-style stagnation and decline.
Canada can either open itself for business or commit to a net-zero future. It canโt do both." @InvestNowOrg

HORRIFIC: What happened in Paris yesterday was horrific. A man is dead. Others are fighting for their lives. A 12-year-old girl was shot eight times.
And before the blood was even dry, Macron was on camera declaring it a โracist terrorist attack.โ Declaring that victims were selected for the colour of their skin and their religion.
He called it a โturning point.โ
Then he said this:
โIt is the first time we have had a terrorist act that was planned to kill our compatriots, our children, based on the colour of their skin or their religion.โ
The FIRST time.
Let that sink in.
The first time?
That single sentence should make every French citizen furious.
So Toulouse wasnโt a turning point? When Mohamed Merah walked into a Jewish school and executed a rabbi and three small children point-blank, one of them just three years old?
Charlie Hebdo wasnโt a turning point? When Islamists massacred journalists for drawing cartoons?
Hyper Cacher wasnโt a turning point? When four Jews were murdered simply for being Jews while shopping for Shabbat?
The Bataclan wasnโt a turning point? When 90 young people were slaughtered like animals inside a concert hall?
Nice wasnโt a turning point? When a truck was driven through families and 86 people were crushed to death, children included?
Father Jacques Hamel wasnโt a turning point? When his throat was slit at the altar of his own church?
Samuel Paty wasnโt a turning point? When a teacher was beheaded in the street for showing his class free speech?
Dominique Bernard wasnโt a turning point?
How many corpses did France have to bury before it counted? How many Jewish children, journalists, shoppers, concertgoers, priests and teachers had to die?
And letโs be clear about something else: the investigation into yesterdayโs horror is still establishing motive. The facts are still being gathered.
Yet Macron already has the narrative, the motive, the moral, and the political lesson ready to go.
If the evidence proves racist intent, then condemn it to the fullest extent of the law. Call it what it is. No one will defend it.
But do not rewrite French history to do it.
Do not insult the memory of the dead to serve todayโs narrative.
France changed long ago. The French people know it because they lived it. They bled through it.
They remember the little girl in Toulouse. They remember the editors slumped over their desks. They remember the hostages in the kosher store. They remember the bodies on the floor of the Bataclan. They remember the strollers shattered on the promenade in Nice. They remember the priest. They remember the teacher.
You can try to push those atrocities into the background because they are inconvenient to your politics.
But you cannot make a nation forget what it saw with its own eyes.
Politicians can rewrite the narrative.
They will never rewrite peopleโs memories.
And they will never make France forget its dead

๐ฎ๐น Italian police have detained pro-Palestine migrant Youssef Siher, 30, who holds an Italian passport and is of Moroccan origin, because of being suspected of masterminding the โOctober 17 Movement,โ which promoted demonstrations linked to violent clashes, vandalism, and looting in Milan.
Siher is accused of incitement to commit crimes with terrorist intent, organized violence at public demonstrations, and terrorism-related offenses. Investigators believe he administered the movement's Instagram page and Telegram group, which promoted protests across Italy.
The pro-Palestine activist previously worked as a geopolitical researcher at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and contributed to national newspapers, including Il Fatto Quotidiano.
His 32-year-old wife, of Lebanese origin, is also under investigation for alleged involvement in managing the movement's social media accounts.
