Shoutout Kane but this Ballon D'or should basically be a message for any superstar attacker out there that if you want to have a shot at the award you have to avoid Premier League at all costs Go to PSG/Bayern/Barca and your chances scale up tenfold

Premier League is just too competitive, every single week there's one of atleast the Top 40/better football teams in the world waiting for you. The defences as well as off-ball setups are at an all time high and it's the most physically demanding competition there's ever been

Go south and you can carefully manage the load on a weekly basis, stat pad v randoms and then most importantly - which is the single hardest bit - turn up and be the X factor in the biggest games of the season

Lamine's lost it with his disappointing-ish World Cup campaign if we're being completely honest and Mbappe just wouldn't be a deserving winner especially if we want to be consistent with the criteria of the past few years
Didn't really have a horse in this race but it's objectively awesome to see Kane's career and the player that he is being honoured after all those years of the outside world doubting his name

Bellingham was unbelievable in that second half when put higher He's a #10 and coaches/football fans need to stop overthinking it

Truly a textbook example of "don't judge a book by it's cover"
I’ve never been more wrong on a signing than Araujo

That loss v City truly sucks and it pedalled some hilariously funny narratives man No point getting it twisted - We're right up there with the best in this league and can beat literally everyone on the day
We genuinely should've been up there at the top of the league with Arsenal right now if only the refs didn't fuxk us over v both City and Forest ffs

You're actually a gimmick LoL
Iraola’s system is finally clicking man. Isak and Wirtz scoring, Barcola becoming a creator, even Munoz is contributing. It’s gonna be scary when this all comes together. A Klopp regen was right there and we went for ‘United DNA’ Carrick.

Some in the fanbase were actually in a full panic-mode for the majority of the summer LoL Clear & obvious CL finish at the minimum
This group had just finished 5th and secured CL football with the worst possible circumstances throughout the year can everyone please stop panicking. 5th place is our floor

If only our in-possesion play was better I would be fully ready to state that we're the best team in the Prem As long as it won't scale up we're ~on par with Arsenal and City all while naturally being able to beat anyone in a one-off game
Think Iraola's floor with our current squad is still relatively high, just not really sure where we stand with the ceilling. If he develops his in-possesion model to a high level all while maintaining the elite OOP setup in place he'll be more than fine. It can take some time tho

Another matchday done, another game showing how good we are in transition and how good our box defending actually is Top home win against one of the best teams in this league
Three points at Anfield 😍 #LIVBHA

The more I think about this signing the more I like it Think we'll see a few-week span somewhere throughout the season where he's going to/should be regarded as one of the best defenders in the league
This is Ronald Araujo’s last 40 duels; look at the quality of defending on display here. He has that South American front-footed temperament where he can step up and win the ball high; utilising his frame well to pin defenders. Comfortable drifting out to the channel to shrug opponents off the ball.

Score first next week and we're winning Opening the scoring and being in a favourable game-state is the main fundament to success for this LFC team considering how average our IP patterns as well as buildup looks and how disgustingly good we are in transitions
Arsenal are coming to Anfield in two weeks. We objectively should be beating them unless some freak incident happens, and what I mean by that is for example a red card like v City last week

We've actually got away with so much today it's hilarious Ayari missed a sitter at 0-0, we then scored from a lucky deflection which wasn't even going on target, quickly followed it up thanks to Barcola's PnP and then no idea how Brighton didn't score from all the chances after
Wirtz is very lucky that horrible shot got saved by a deflection
