LFC fans forgot what a fucking project is bro. Itโ€™s exactly how you can tell a lot of these guys became fans post 2018. Iraola is on a journey, you need to go through the pain

I think United should consider an interim manager next. Just let everything calm down a bit. Why not a former player? They would know the club inside out. It's got to be an advantage. And if they do ok, why not give them the gig full time next summer?

Iraola's Liverpool record is 8W 3D against teams that haven't been found guilty of cheating on an industrial scale. He deserves more credit than he's getting

I wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel watching a City game for the first time since the guilty verdict. But watching that yesterday - the smug smiles to the camera, the away fans waving cash around, the banners, chants. It's just all a hollow sham. The whole Premier League season is. It can still be saved, just. But in truth we all know it's probably going to continue to drag for a few months at least before we get anything close to clarity. So we'll see those scenes again and again this season because they are a great team with great players who are going to keep winning. It's just going to make such a mockery of this season. Every goal, every celebration, every glance at the league table, you just ask yourself the same questions. What does it mean? What's the point of this all? What's the point of spending our money to watch? Of course we will still do it and come kick-off of most games. (when City aren't playing in them), we'll probably forget about it and get caught up in what we're watching. But then the full-time whistle will go and it will start all over again. So many seasons/moments have been lost for millions of fans around the world already because of what they've done and this season is going to be no different. Such a shame.

The narrative went from โ€˜we didnโ€™t cheatโ€™ to โ€˜we cheated and we donโ€™t careโ€™ really quickly, didnโ€™t it?

Football is hard to love right now. You wait 3 weeks for it to return, only to watch your side succumb due to a combination of injuries sustained on international duty, an inept refereeing performance and ultimately lose against a team that shouldnโ€™t even be allowed to play.

Genuinely feels soulless watching them play. Atleast last season there was rivalry, this just feels like a waste of everyones time. โ€œThe fans and players havent done anythingโ€ Look at how smug they are acting. Genuine disgrace they are allowed to play in the Premier League.

Again you have to ask: what does this mean? These players buying into a supposed siege mentality and yet they will be immediately out of the door the moment sanctions are handed down. Fans gloating about it all. Such a bad look for the Premier League.

It's a victory that is likely to mean absolutely nothing in a couple of months when City get their punishment for nearly a decade of cheating. What a mess the Premier League is in.

Etihad threatening to sue. UAE reportedly intimating that UK investment could be pulled. A Prime Minister couching any criticisism. If this sorry saga doesn't convince you that state ownership of football clubs should never be allowed, nothing ever will.
