A day of reflection.
A day of community.
A day of remembrance.
Today marks 23 years since our immeasurable loss.
As an extension of Tribute in Light, for the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we have partnered with the @Sept11Memorial and will be illuminating the historic Coney Island Parachute Jump in sky blue tonight at dusk as gesture of collective remembrance.

Two huge wins for the Lady Gales on Tuesday night! JV dominated with a 5-0 victory, and Varsity followed up with a strong 6-0 win against the Jonathan Alder Pioneers. Keep up the hard work ladies!

I took this pic of a heron at a local park, but the more I look at it the more it looks like Monet has created the back drop.
Congrats to our Art State Qualifiers who reported, "It was fun to be clapped out," this morning! The Co-curriculars appreciate being included in this LHS tradition! @LHSMrKnuckles

*1/3* of 5-7 year olds have *unsupervised access* to social media. This is insane. Parents please take the phones off your children. It’s not a baby sitter. It’s a window into every horror humanity can imagine, and at best it’s a mindless attention hoover that teaches children to be absent from where they are. This is a society wide problem. Culture hasn’t caught up with technology. It is strangling children’s focus, learning and thinking.
