back in college, I reaaaallly liked # 7s.
they were all sad, pathetic little virgins. I could fuck as many of them as I liked with no risk of STDs. They'd follow me around campus and hold my textbooks for me. They let me spank them in bed and choke them.
The best part was that their problem was that they were only a bit chubby, with a bad haircut and bad skincare. The underlying facial structure was actually very good! I'd starve them for a few weeks, forbidding them from leaving their room, brought them shitty salad from the campus dining hall if they wanted to eat, do their skin routine for them, and teach them to talk to girls! By the time I was done with them, they were ready to capture the hearts of women everywhere! I'd watch them emerge from their training, as a butterfly emerges from a chrysalis. FLY, MY PRETTIES, FLY!!!
I wonder how these boys are doing right now. I bet they totally dont have a complex or any underlying kinks, now 😆

By the way my rule in life is I do not voluntarily participate in my own suffering. And I will ditch anything that tries to make me a willing participant in my own suffering. If I can't exit immediately, just know I'm planning my exit and I will exit at some point.

I'm a lesbian. I can see and notice my mom or sister has boobs and nipples without getting weird about it. Skill issue.

A phenomenon I’ve observed over time is that every time I’ve met someone who has a huge & specific grievance about ‘how people are’ vs how they ought to be, that person is almost always eliciting the behavior from others without realizing it.
I.e. Once met someone who was HUGE on inclusivity in communities & never kicking anyone out. Meeting them, I thought ‘sure that’s a nice value.’ Down the line, saw firsthand that they had patterns of instigating conflict unnecessarily, seeing others reactions (distancing themselves, sharing their hurt, etc.) as bullying of *them* and had therefore been kicked out of communities an abnormal number of times.
Another time, I got close to someone who was obsessed with ‘good faith’ & honesty in relationships. I thought, ‘sure, that’s a nice value.’ Down the line, learned that this person become so insulting and manipulative at the slightest indication of rejection that the only way to safely be close with them was to be abnormally withholding of any sort of sensitive information (and in some cases to outright lie).
There are more cases of this I could give however the underlying point is that I truly believe both of these people (& many others I could reference) genuinely believed they had pinpointed a ‘fault’ in mankind’s general nature that others weren’t brave enough to take issue with, when in fact they were seeing way more of the problem than the average person due to blind spots/distortions they had that were eliciting said behavior more consistently in others.
When we talk about ‘toxic’ people playing the victim, I think the thing that gets missed is that a lot of the time they’re not playing. They really are blind to how their own distortions are continuously recreating the situations they most want to avoid.
It’s a sad cycle (for everyone involved!) but way more accurate to understand it through the lens of distortions (in most cases) than assuming conscious intent.
toxic people are almost always very very good, painfully earnest human beings. that's why they're dangerous. if they were evil they'd be easy to avoid. but they are gushing with desire for healthy uncomplicated love and to be good for those in their life. they will repeat this desire over and over until you believe that everyone else, sometimes you yourself, MUST be the problem.
but you approach them with like, the BEST intentions and soon find yourself doing exactly what they say everyone always does. you find out how they actively incentivize all the things they complain about, but try as you might you cannot explain it to them.
they're not lying, this is truly the world they live in. something in how they love and communicate and fundamentally see things is warped. over time being close to them **erodes** you, like trying over and over to mush together two puzzle pieces that don't fit.
the saddest thing i ever learned in life is that if you are emotionally healthy people will treat you good. perpetual victims actively create their own abuse.

Talking about ‘reforms.’ I can’t wait to see what the reactions will be when Jehovah’s Witnesses finally review their teachings on blood transfusion. With current scientific advancement, it’s almost inevitable. Lives have been lost and people permanently damaged, but we’ll see.
