Accept the fact that machines can do your job better than you. Take a few days to grieve that. Change is hard. Then show up to work excited to put these machines to work for you. This is the birth of your new career.

Peter Thiel on why 70% of Millennials say they are pro-socialist: “When one has too much student debt or if housing is too unaffordable, then one will have negative capital for a long time… and if one has no stake in the capitalist system, then one may well turn against it.”

In contrast, Harris plans to use tax funds to pay for other people’s down payment.

The mad blind rivalry of the two political parties is snuffing out the soul of our nation. This rivalry distracts us from our real problems—the $34 trillion dollar debt; the destructive merger of state and corporate power; our declining health; the epidemic of addiction; the growing war machine; widespread soil degradation; the fact that fifty-seven percent of Americans cannot put their hands on a thousand dollars during an emergency. Instead of focusing on these critical issues, politicians direct our attention toward divisive culture war issues such as abortion, transgender athletes, gun control. We then discharge our anxiety and rage onto these issues, and especially those who hold opposing views on them. Thus distracted, the public offers little resistance to its ongoing robbery at the hands of elite corporate interests. Step outside the culture war. Step outside the politics of hating the other side. Vote independent in 2024! #Kennedy24

A side effect of banning speech you don't like is that you lose touch with reality yourself. Your own thinking is no longer subject to stress-testing. You can spiral straight into insanity.

Changing your mind is not a sign of losing integrity. It's often a mark of gaining wisdom. Realizing you were wrong doesn't mean you lack judgment. It means you lacked knowledge. Opinions are what you think today. Growth comes from staying open to revising your views tomorrow.

Important thread: MISINFORMATION and LIES How does Twitter allow this tweet to stay up given their misinformation policy? This is not only misleading, it is an intentional, egregious, bald-faced lie. Read the thread for the breakdown.
The fact is we’ve got about 790 or so billionaires in America. You know what their average tax rate is? About 8%. I believe that no billionaire should be paying a lower tax rate than a teacher, a firefighter, an electrician, or a cop.
