This is the most important data point of the election.
Yes, the war was unpopular and the messaging was tone-deaf, but how did Democrats turnout 20 million new voters in an off year?
This kind of thing doesn’t just happen, turnout for a mid to low propensity voter averages around $20-$50 per voter.
On a local level, we saw this in Glendale in June—Republican turnout actually increased, but Dems found ~4k brand-new voters. I assumed that was the DSA here, but Dems have that kind of ground game in all the Red States?
No more of these people. Leavitt laughed at Americans who santed affordability and told them to work harder and then quit her job. Now she thinks Americans are not smart enough to know how much money they have. And you all keep defending her

Conservatives make society functional. Liberals make society beautiful.
We really do need each other.

I have bookmarked this.
And I think that yes, Ms. Raman is going to “Hot/Cold” Los Angeles itself. She’s also EXTREMELY emotionally fragile because she is a manipulated puppet. Oh wait - no - you’re supposed to say “she’s so GRATEFUL to her MENTORS” - she was part of a *mentorship* program. Probably several.
She’s liable to get trolled into paralysis.
She’s so over her head. I predict staff abuse stories coming. That imposter syndrome’s going to be hard to live with.
Nithya Raman's victory means four years of destructive chaos - and her socialist revolution will leave LA in ruins trib.al/kcypxPj

We moved our office from NoHo to Burbank a couple of years ago - didn’t realize how awesome Burbank is. You’re right for wanting it to stay this way, not like the rest of LA.

Everyone telling me to move out of California, but California moved out to you lmao.
(Except you Florida kings, stay based.)
Burbank, the “media capital of the world” has fallen to a DSA city council, but the amazing team of Don’t L.A. My Burbank didn’t let it go without a fight.
In just two months we sent:

Was told my campaigns are fun and that I don’t campaign like a Republican, I campaign like a Democrat.
Correct âś…. Save it.
@dpdonahue came in just behind the DSA slate, beating out an incumbent. He would have won, if we hadn’t been up against all of DSA-LA
Grateful and honored to have been a part of this fight with so many amazing people.
Young men with kids voted to the right of men without kids by 40 points.
Young women with kids voted to the right of women without kids by 35 points
Everyone would already know this if they’d followed my deep dive into all the Propositions 🤓

I still think it's remarkable that there were 19 GOP House members from California in 2011 and 11 in 2021. Starting in January, there will be no more than 4.
Republicans in other states have been using CA as an ATM and a punching bag. Bragging about how much better it is to run away.
You don’t win a war by ceding ground.
We’ve been warning that you help us fight it here or you’ll be fighting it there.
Welcome to 2027

That’s a 45 point shift. Young White men are the new swing voters—and they should be talked to and courted like they are.
Which means that starting today, Republicans have to stop hating young White men and start caring about making their lives better.

Move to a red state, Kira! Get out of there! You’re so dumb for staying in CA!
Yeah? Where? Where should I go? We’re all moving to Florida now?
Do you get it yet? Conservatives keep abandoning battlefields. We will have the government we deserve.
