Today, I want to share a pain I’ve carried in my heart since childhood, something many of you who know me through my cat Misho may not know. 💔 I was just one year old when my father was killed by Israeli forces. He was taken from me before I could even say his name or have a single memory of him. I grew up watching other children laugh with their fathers and hold their hands, while wondering what my life would have been like if my dad were still by my side. I never knew the warmth of your embrace, Dad. I never heard you call my name, and I have no memories with you to look back on when I miss you. The years have passed, and I’ve grown up, Dad. But the little boy who lost you still lives inside me, waiting for a reunion this world never gave us. May Allah have mercy on your soul, Dad, accept you among the martyrs, and reunite us in Paradise, where I can finally hold you in my arms and never have to say goodbye again.
