Guys idk who needs to hear this, probably a LOT of you, but you really do need to hear this: Self care as a VTuber is very important. We all get caught up in the content wheel; planning what we need to do, doing them, editing what we did and then the cycle repeats and repeats constantly. I personally have been really horrible at taking care of myself and I prioritized work above so many things as a workaholic. One day, I put it over myself, and I didn't notice until I felt so burnt out I wanted to bed rot But I didn't let myself. I go to the gym at least every other day I use shower steamers and take my time cleaning myself I wake up every morning with warm honey lemon water and look outside my office window at the sun rising I do spa day every 4 days, where I cleanse and steam my face, as well as use clay and jelly masks I go out with my husband at least twice a week to spend some quality time together My work live balance has been much healthier, and I am slowly getting better at carving out time in the day to take care of myself as needed. The best way to ensure you keep moving forward with your career is ensuring you have enough fuel in the tank to keep chugging. And you can't do that if you neglect yourself. So please, take care of yourself. Even if it's small, even if you think it's not much. Start with baby steps. Love yourself more.
