that’s it. and i’m tired of watching lesbian content sink just like that. it’s really unfair. whatever representation exists is often dismissed or brushed aside, usually in favour of men, and representation that is good is almost always background or cancelled quickly.

netflix was really lucky that the news about the possible hbo max cancellations dropped so soon after, because people diverted their attention to it.

people always hold wlw media, specifically lesbian media, to such high standards, and for what??? then they’ll turn around and complain about how there’s nothing for them when a lot of them are the same people causing the downfalls of what exists.

there have been so many pieces of media in any/all of these categories that have been renewed easily, and yet first kill never stood a chance regardless. not every piece of wlw media has to be perfect, and the fact that people are holding it to such high standards is crazy.
