An amazing upcoming article in Challenge on the translation of the General Theory into French, by Helene de Largentaye, the daughter of the translator. She goes over much of the correspondence between Keynes and the translator. Fascinating story The French Translation of Keynes’s General Theory (1938–39): A Revelation, not a Revolution tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…

Again. The right contributes NOTHING to society but hatred and fear.
URGENTE! Lula vai pra cima de falta de ônibus em São Paulo e Salvador, pede prorrogação do horário de votação e faz pedido aos eleitores "não desistam de votar"!

As I have said before, the right has nothing good to offer society but misery and hatred, and in this case, outright racism.
Yesterday, at Flávio Bolsonaro's final rally, a supporter led a Black man in chains, dressed as a Lula voter, through the crowd. This is a grotesque expression of racism, and a reminder to those who deny that race shapes Latin American politics.

Never apologise for voting left. Why apologise when you are on the 'left' side of history.
