2 Chainz appears to be responding to the backlash surrounding his recent exchange with food critic Keith Lee over celebrity privilege and preferential treatment at restaurants.
In a new Instagram post, the rapper questions what constitutes hard work and success, seemingly defending the effort behind his accomplishments.
“Do you really think the illuminati picked out some black kids from the ghetto and made them successful?” he wrote, adding, “What is hard work to you???”

Regular customers spending their HARD EARNED money at your establishment deserve the SAME quality of food, service, and respect as celebrities!
Instead of getting offended, 2 Chainz should’ve taken Keith Lee’s criticism and used it to IMPROVE his restaurant! Keith is reviewing the experience EVERYDAY customers receive, not the celebrity experience!
And bragging about your celebrity privileges like you’re above regular people is exactly what’s wrong with celebrity culture! Congratulations you worked hard for your success. SO DO REGULAR PEOPLE!

2 Chainz got into a DEBATE with Keith Lee after bringing up the BAD REVIEW Keith gave his restaurant, with Keith arguing that his reviews should reflect how REGULAR CUSTOMERS are treated, while 2 Chainz insisted celebrities EARN special treatment 😳👀
2 Chainz also questioned whether Keith’s strict diet as a former athlete affects his TASTE in food and how he judges restaurants.
“I’m an entertainer, and obviously we get perks that other people don’t get. That’s just period, my boy. I don’t stand in line at the airport. I don’t do none of that because I done worked my ass off to do this.”
