I think people hate when celebs get off social media or become private because it means all the envious weirdo vitriol and discourse they spew can’t reach them and the ppl on here (fans included) get more and more miserable while they just live their life and move.
She hardly ever makes a post for Halloween. With the exception of when she had a work event I think she’s shared her costume maybe 3 times
I really wish this fandom could be normal. Always doing the most and then acting surprised when there’s consequences

4 years ago today, Taylor Swift made history as the first artist to simultaneously occupy the entire top 10 on the Hot 100.
It’s been like 16 years since Taylor got Meredith, she got her on Halloween during the speak now era

Remember when Taylor Swift sampled the beat in the halloween scene of Mean Girls after Katy Perry called her "Regina George in sheep's clothing"? ICONIC xitter.gq/cowboylikezain/status/…
I have absolutely no kids in my neighborhood but I still get a bowl of candy by the door in case kids from a few streets over stop by. Never happened once in the 5 years I’ve lived here. And my roommates just eat it every year
Taylor’s success elicits an entirely different response. Idk how this fandom is still not grasping this
People will ignore 99.9 % of stuff anyone else does bc they don’t actually care until it’s Taylor. Pointing out the hypocrisy to the folks doing this doesn’t do shit. It just rehashes stuff that shouldn’t matter. You’re just fighting with kids and setting Taylor up
Also a lot of her fans are ex-Swifties, haters, widows, and lors. Asking them to be normal about Taylor is asking too much.
The blatant double standards that apply only to Taylor are frustrating and unfair, but a lot of this is from her refusal to go away
