happy v-day 💗 i collected love letters from friends and internet strangers, and created a home for them to live in. from words they could never say out loud, to the ones they can't contain. care to explore?

today a project ive held so closely to me is now out for anyone to watch
i made my first shortfilm/doc this year & it pushed me in so many different ways
as a storyteller
as a team player
as a daughter
as an editor
“The Weight of Dreams” is an ongoing conversation exploring what is a dream and what it means to have one, when i set out to make this i knew i wanted to capture stories I didn’t want to get lost so i decided to tell my parents’ stories
if you watch the film I hope you’re able to find pieces of yourself in it 🤍

we have spent a very very very NORMAL amount of time thinking about every corner of this room. how the light hits different areas, which layout feels the most balanced, how each durable object will sit inside. hopefully you’ll feel it when you stop by.

Oct 15-16, 9am-4pm 🧡

Crafted with a lot of care, a lot of love, and many 6am nights. Still filling in a few case studies, but wanted to make it live anyway :,) Hope you enjoy!
Also exploring Summer ’27 internship opportunities across visual, brand, and full-stack design, and always down for fun creative challenges, cool projects, or just a good conversation. Come say hi <3

Why does it feel so wrong to spend time in Figma these days?
I wrote about atrophy of the creative mind when AI gets me to 99% of what I'd make, 10x faster. What happens when you accept that 1% drop over and over?
Read it in one sitting! The page degrades every time you cmd + tab:

cur8d.club is getting a huge upgrade!
besides designers, you can now find cool projects, case studies, archives, workflows and skills (coming soon) made by fellow designers
you can also search to find the project or designer you have in mind in 2 seconds (and we highlight the matching keyword for you) so you don't need to keep a long list yourself
--- what is cur8d.club?
it's not a "hall of fame" for the most-followed designers or the trendy projects here simply because there are so many other curations out there that already do this job
my intention is to create a curation of the hidden gems of the internet that you don't usually see in other curations. it's more personal, niche, and maybe a bit quirky. but I believe that's where the gold mine of creativity lies
I hope yall find it helpful, happy exploring :)
and don't forget to submit yours!

A while back we asked people to drop their thoughts and reflections on design.
They shared how they became a designer, what they want a young designer to know, and the state of design as a whole.
read those letters and write your own: letters.otherkind.design/
